  1. Another wonderful year of Auburn football with the Cardiac Cats and Heartattack Harsin.
  2. TJ def a rhythm/volume passer. Has got to get the reps in otherwise he's going to be abysmal. Still don't understand putting Robby in to run glorified veer that everyone knows is coming. Maybe some big-brained building a tendency deal so it can be broken later but I dunno.
  3. OL getting ripped by a SJST without Zaven Collins. This is legit wild. We're talking a 3-3-5 defense.
  4. Is it just me or does Shenker look sort of lethargic when he runs?
  5. Massive effort play, but that's a lack of foresight to really drive that ball to the sideline on that out. If you have the DB in a trail position and the WR rounded off the out, you drive to the sideline or don't throw it at all. WAY too close to the MoF.
  6. Blocking is so suspect. We get to see what the offense can be when there isn't much pressure, but don't expect it to look like that against the SEC gauntlet of defenses. Also Mercer doing a lot of 3 Man Deep now. Odd but they know they'll probably get dusted against these receivers.
  7. Coming out and talking about how happy he was with the camp program and how he's never seen O-Linemen puke so much. Bragging out in the open about it. I mean, it happens but you're not supposed to talk about that stuff.
  8. A lot of parity this year in CFB. These games look more and more competitive from a talent standpoint. Also Hunter looking like the better back early.
  9. Especially after his pre-season shenanigans. If they lost, it would have been curtains.
  10. Nvm the fact Georgia literally lines up to split safety and then equally single high. They blitz, buzz, and cover out of all looks. That's awful if you're a QB still learning to read defense. Bo never had a chance.
  11. That's the takeaway here. UGA is terrifying on both offense and defense. Embarrassing a supposedly loaded oregon team ranked 11 like this. They could play the game in 13 personnel with a near perfect 50/50 run-pass production split. Insanity.
  12. Showed 3, rotated to quarters, then played 3 and pick. Bo still doesn't see the post-snap rolls.
  13. More QBs. This is so interesting to see all of the QBs in this class. Lots of shakeup in college free agency.
  14. Sucks to see guys that have some sort of upside not do what they were billed to do... As football guys, a lot of us see the traits and upside that some of these guys can bring and just assume they'll work on their weaknesses or go somewhere that they can do well. Again, it sucks but it happens.
  15. A lot of former Panthers fans realize that Joe Brady really isn't TOO good of an OC. He was good for introducing and creating new passing concepts for LSU during their transitions but he doesn't do good as an OC. His insistence on not running the ball and being a Diet McDaniels minus the run game destroyed a lot of the goodwill he had built.
  16. That should have been a playaction or backside RPO on 2nd down.
  17. Finley is throwing on one foot in one of the most valiant displays ive seen.
  18. I doubt they'll let Finley throw anymore. His plant foot is done. These throws are going everywhere now.
  19. Yes, it would negate the advantage of the 3-4 in having a designated PR player. You'd want to have it schemed up so your LBs can be fast to their assignments.
  20. 3-4 Schemes use a 5 and in some fronts a 4i where its inside foot of the tackle. Usually you don't want that OLB having to focus so much on the run where they'd be responsible for 2 gaps.
  21. He can be good here because at this size He'd be closer to a 3-4 DE which that's probably his natural fit. He'll have less opportunities to be a playmaker unless he's amazing at beating double teams. This is more of a "Cream Rise to The Top" sort of system where the truly phenomenal players that can defeat the run blocks and rush the passer from an inside shade like Stephon Tuitt etc will be phenomenal but the ones who aren't great still can be high-level contributors unless they're just out of place. The alignment itself take away gaps while forcing runs outside for your faster players to get out and meet them. Even better is that thanks to the addition of the Jack Safety, you can also spill or you can play force technique.
