Just stating a fact about Gus’ record against bama at Jordan Hare.

I am talking about games at Jordan Hare-he was 3 of 4 only losing in 2015

First of all- Gus was 3 of 4 against bama with less talent every year. He always had a good game plan for them and would not have been throwing the ball with the lead midway through the 4th quarter. No doubt in my mind we win that game with Gus. And yes I think our defense would have been just as good under Steele. I know that we needed a change from Gus but I think we have downgraded and we are going in the wrong direction. I just am afraid we are now on the coaching carousel!

We would have been at minimum 8-4 going into the bowl game-We definitely would have beaten Alabama! At least 3 of the losses were stupid in game coaching decisions. I am afraid we are in for a few Barfield years.

I agree with this. I really want Gus to succeed but sometimes just shake my head(Clemson)! I, for one, don't want to start over again. For Auburn's sake I hope Gus can do it and we are sitting here in 5 years saying this is what we thought Gus could do as a head coach! War Eagle!

Still savoring last night's victory. It is hard not to say "if only" about those Sept losses by how fun for the rest of the season that we are just getting better every game. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed a game as much as last night especially the defensive play!!!

I agree this game is a must win to continue to build confidence for this young team and to keep the heat off the coaching staff. I think if we best State we should have momentum going into the off week and Arkansas. I don't think there is a team we can't beat if we continue to improve on offense.( I should mention that I am a very optimistic person!"
