What Alabama high school coaches have to say about Bryan Harsin
Dshep4au replied to McLoofus's topic in AU Football Forum
This is rather alarming. He has surely had time to at least visit the high schools and meet the coaches. I donât understand how he doesnât realize the importance of relationships. -
This is the worst possible outcome if he stays- I am afraid the next few years will be worse than the Barfield yearsđĄ
-
How could he possibly be successful if he is retained??
-
The reality of the situation if we do not embrace the NIL we will not get any highly rated recruits. My understanding is that is why we lost the transfers to Ole Miss and FL. Harsin didnât want them to talk to Jason Campbell who is heading up our NIL program.
-
I have heard this also and that is a major issue going forward if he stays.
-
I donât believe Dr. Gouge would have made the statement about the investigation if there werenât something to investigate. We need to just wait and see what the findings are. I do think if he canât be fired for cause a buyout should be negotiated. He is deadman walking at this point. I donât think there is any coming back from this where he can be effective as the head coach. I just hate that has all been aired so publicly on social media.
-
I just donât think Harsin has an idea of the culture in the south. People keep comparing him with Coach Dye but for all of his toughness he loved his players and they knew it. Some of the players that donât have strong father figures in their life need that from their coach. I donât want the kind of culture change that doesnât recognize that and embrace those players.

This makes me so mad!
-
There may be some truth to all of the verbal abuse with all of the players leaving. If true I do think Auburn had to act. We canât let the situation continue to spiral down. Obviously he was not vetted very well before he was hired.

Any update on Kristi?

In my opinion if we have a losing season again next year we need to move on from BH. There is no reason to let him dig us into a deeper hole. It has been one disappointment after another since halftime of the Ms. State game.
-
He is still listed as AU OC on Twitter but no activity since 1/17
-
I heard he hurt his ankle in practice a couple of weeks ago- he has been game to game it seems like since then
-
It is ridiculous to think someone wants Harsin to fail just because they have questions about what is going on. I also am very concerned about what is going on but certainly want Harsin to succeed. But these people saying next year could be worse canât really think Auburn will accept back to back losing seasons. Has not happened since Barfield and no reason that it should now. You can be unhappy with things and still hope he can be successful.

Praying nowđ
-
That is what I meant- the same coach- he didnât even inherit a losing program so no excuse to turn us into one!
-
When was the last time Auburn had back to back losing seasons? Maybe the Barfield years? To me that would be unacceptable!

2022 4* DE Caden Story Decommits from Auburn
Dshep4au replied to Paladin's topic in AU Recruiting Forum
Prayers for youđ I lost my first husband 19 years ago. Even though I am happily remarried there is not a day that goes by that I donât think about him. It is a hard journey that my faith in God has made it possible to navigate. God bless you -
I hate to see him go!
