If we don’t start getting at least some offensive boards this game will get out of hand even quicker than it is right now. I felt the key to us winning was controlling that first punch. We ain’t doing a very good job of that.

I don’t think KD is going to be able to play his type of basketball tonight. He’s not going to get those calls. Needs to play more controlled.

Don’t think the guards are going to get many easy shots from the perimeter.

I don’t know basketball as well as football. This is the first team I’ve seen just completely blanket our guards like this. What does that open? Looks like the paint is empty every possession. How do we take what they give us when they do this with the guards?

Yes. Absolutely. Have been preaching it on this thread. Idk what got into our guards this game but they played much more selfish than they usually do and you could see the results of that. Didn’t dish it off when it would have been easy buckets.

I kind of feel that way too. We’ve had some questionable play for three games now. We just happened to be playing lesser opponents. Arkansas is much better than our three most recent wins. Guards gotta be better and I feel like Cardwell and Williams got to turn their minutes into points. Starts and ends with the guards though. They weren’t passing at all this game.

I didn’t even notice the possible charge one Wendell on his final shot until the replay. Honestly shocked they didn’t call it. GA had a ridiculous amount of foul calls go their way, most warranted. Just an absolutely ugly second half by Auburn. Probably correlates a little to not getting Jabari involved.

Hate they let them get back in it but GREAT adversity. Lordt my heart hurts. Guards tried to do too much this game. I know Jabari had a couple bad TOs but they did not get him or Kessler involved enough. We could have pushed it inside all game easily. Thankful they couldn’t seem to make their free throws.

So they are about to let GEORGIA, the worst team in the SEC and our rival, take our #1 ranking after being up as much as 15 and beating them by 20 the first time? This is making me absolutely sick.

We’ve become completely dismantled and its strictly because of effort and sloppy play.

We’ve got the talent but they have the effort. It’s paying off for them. Up 15 at one point and not struggling against an awful team. Need better energy

Lot of fouls, but most were legit. That second one on Kessler was BS. GA doing a good job of drawing them. Got to be careful of that and cut the turnovers in the second half and we will be good.

I second the “hair trigger” on the mansplaining gun because what she claims is such is usually just other posters disagreeing with her. Now I will say “mansplaining” is real (if that’s what you want to call it) because I have experienced that myself. However it was in the legit form of a male customer at my job (that I was trained tirelessly for) telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about before telling me how I needed to do my job and then after that he proceeded to tell my boss he should have hired a man. That’s a legitimate example of “mansplaining” because his intention was malicious from the start. I’ve never had someone mansplain football to me because as soon as I open my mouth they know immediately that if need be I can hold my own in a conversation about the logistics of football. Just seems the poster may jump the gun on accusing someone of mansplaining things if they don’t know the person they are talking to is in fact a woman….. But I digress.
