I don't know if its because of the coaching staff or loss of morale, but they just seem to be going through the motions on the field. Absolutely no life or energy. Some of the girls even look defeated when approaching the plate.

At one point in the game, they mentioned that we left 9 or 10 players on base.

We beat UK 4-1 tonight. Good night for Lowe and Packer. Lowe pitched a complete game and went well over her normal pitch count. Packer had 2 of our 3 hits, including a HR.

I recall seeing Mike G, from the War Rapport, say something along the lines of getting CJH the support/resources that she needs to be successful. I don't know if he was alluding to financial resources, facility upgrades, or whatever. I do hope that she can really pull in some playmakers from the portal. If not, I don't see us making any improvements next year.

I noticed that former players and their family members liked his comment.

I know that Penta had just thrown 4 straight balls to walk a batter, but he pulled her way to early. You could tell that she was frustrated by that. I hear the commentators for 3 straight weeks talk about the relationships that the other teams have with their coaches. Then I look at our team and see Dean's interviews and there's a clear disconnect there.

Horrible loss today. We need Dean gone immediately!

Congrats to Penta and Packer! Penta tied Carlson for most wins in program history. Packer is now 2nd in career stolen bases. She's also tied for 2nd in triples.

Honesty made All-SEC 1st team. That was very well deserved. I can't imagine where we'd be without her this year.

I don't think she had any home runs last year, so I was glad to see her return to her earlier form with the grand slam.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a person's attire should dictate whether or not they should be coaching kids. I've played sports from elementary to college. You know what influenced me? It wasn't what they wore. It was their relatability and the fact that I knew they cared about what I did on and off the field.

To my knowledge, they have only signed 2 high school seniors: 1. Jordan Hunter- is the top (or #2 depending on the source) high school girl in the state 2. Syriah Daniels- Marquis' daughter, who was a finalist for Miss Alabama in basketball last year. I hope that they can get some bigger bodies in the portal.
