Yah I agree. I am also disappointed after that showing against Memphis. Broome looked a little intimidated to me last night. Honestly my main concern is the freshmen. Westry and Traore haven’t improved a bit. I expected much more from them. Donaldson needs to play more in my opinion. Not sure why these highly touted freshmen are playing scared. But just my opinions, I trust that BP will fix it!!

No to Vizzina. I’m glad he doesn’t have interest. He is not an elite QB as I have watched him the past two years in high school. I think we dodged a bullet with that.

Mikey, yes I have read all your posts and know you are adamant about not wanting Deion. I respect your opinion because my dad is also dead set in his ways. But we will have to respectfully agree to disagree. Yes I have Deions book, I have his CD (lol), I have his Dallas jersey, and I have a signed helmet. I know a lot about him. Every coach we talk about has things in their past, most have things not brought to the light yet. But yes I am all for believing he has changed. As far as him only recruiting a handful of players at Jackson St. Again this is true, but that’s all he has do do to win. If at Auburn he will be able to recruit as much as he needs with the resources and name of Auburn. We are comparing two different things in what JSU needs and what Auburn needs. Fact is he can get it done. I agree with you that we need a coach that will build a championship program, but I also think it needs to be one that is a splash hire as well. This Auburn program needs something special now and not have to wait 3-5 years for results. Auburn has been through enough. But yes, I too will leave it up to the admin and do solidly think Deion fits what we need.

Man, I completely agree with you. Deion is the only coach even being talked about that can do what we need at Auburn. And it blows my mind that he’s not even being considered by administration. Auburn is as low as I have even seen it in my 48 years and we need a jolt. He is the one that can give us that jolt we need. Yes the downside that everyone keeps bringing up is worth the risk at this point, because the upside is so large. IMO every other coach mentioned is going to be a rinse, cycle, repeat of all of our hires . We will have some 8-4 seasons, if the coach stays long enough to build. Kiffin is not the answer. We need different, we need that “it” factor. Who know, maybe there is a name out there we haven’t heard that can be that. Just hope this hire will be different. This is just my opinion and I needed to get it off my chest because I’m so ready for my Auburn Tigers to get what they deserve. I just think Deion is that. Auburn has been through enough crap, things they shouldn’t have to go through, and it’s time for the silver lining! I know everyone’s opinion seems to get flamed, so if you feel that need then go ahead lol.

Yes, I agree with these assessments. I really hope that Deion gets this job and knowing what Caddy means to the school and his leadership gives him the Associate Head Coach position. Deion would definitely not feel threatened by that.

Man, y’all aren’t lying. That’s the worst line I have ever seen. There was one play that State’s entire Dline got through untouched and all you can see is 5 AU lineman jogging behind them watching Robby run for his life. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a play where not one lineman got a block. It’s extremely embarrassing.
