Private Schools have been doing it for a while.    They can do whatever they want and can afford.   
Some colleges have placed kids in certain public schools with incentives, and this was, and still is illegal.  
Hopefully @bigbird is referring to the former.

I’m sure we’re the underdog in our final 3 regular season games, and the SEC tourney will be tough.  The NCAA Tournament will be tough as well.   If we drop down to the NIT😱 he should get a couple of wins and pass Cliff.  

Since we need to go out of conference, and we want someone with starting experience…..there’s a kid at Oregon with tons of experience!   He even started in the SECW for 3 years!   He was a 5* recruit out of HS, and could be a good fit in our offense.  We should give that guy a call! What do you guys think?

Like someone else said, If he’s my son, I don’t want him playing again. But it’s hard to tell some kids with that kind of talent not to go 100%.

Man, that stinks!!!!   All of the QB battles I was looking at for potential transfers were in the SEC.   This little tidbit is a game-changer, in a bad way.

I think it usually has to do with what position the people around the kid are telling him he has the most D1/NFL potential.   
Although sometimes a kid just really likes one position over another.  I’ve seen good RBs that just love to hit, and they wind up loving LB more!   I also know some kids that prefer offense because they like more opportunities to score TDs.

From info from TOS it seems Burnette and Daniel Hill are 2 RBs that we are definitely after and they are both big RBs around 220 lbs. Could be a first come first serve. I doubt we would take both although I would be ok with it. I just think we likely take a second back that would fall into that faster, shiftier, Scat back type IMO. 

@bigbirdsaid it ITT that this class would be the foundation and I firmly believe that. I believe HCBHF has a top 10 class for 24 and then the one that cements the fact that AU is here to play will be the 25 class. Man what a time to be an Auburn fan.
