  1. Still up by a lot, but we are starting to lose some margin. Battie got up close to 75% of the vote, and he’s now below 74%. It’s not like a “panic mode” moment, but just thought I would let the board know there is movement in some of the other candidates to reduce our margin. I know someone posted it, but this is for the best/most versatile player. I think Battie with his KR, receiving, and running games certainly gets a nod as worth a vote.
  2. Three more weeks left of voting! Don’t forget to support Mr. Barrie today!
  3. Also taking this from a friendly poster on the other forum. Let’s show up in a big way to support a fellow Tiger! For those of you who had no idea what the Paul Hornung award was like myself To be eligible, a candidate must be in good standing and eligible on his team during the selection process, eligible with the NCAA during the selection process and play significant time during most or all of the season. Decisions regarding status for the award will be made by the Oversight Committee. In addition to starting or playing significant downs on offense or defense, candidates will be measured by performance from among one or more of the following: Playing multiple positions on offense and/or multiple positions on defense Playing a significant role on special teams Performing as a two-way player who starts either on offense or defense and is used on the other side of the ball in some capacity Making a significant impact during big games and elevating the team's performance through leadership displayed by excelling in multiple roles
  4. She posted this in another forum… Could you take a few seconds to cast your vote for my son, Brian Battie, #21 Running Back, he is new to the team and he is the only Auburn Tiger in the running for this award. Your support to help him get to #1 would be greatly appreciated. You can vote once every 24 hours. Fan voting for finalists will close on Nov. 12, 2023, at midnight. War Eagle!! 5. Why were we fooled to think that an HC fired from Tulsa would be a good candidate to come in a call plays in the SEC??
  6. Who knew the best offense we would have over the past year would be Herb Hand at OC, Caddy at HC and Robby at QB???
  7. This is how you come out of a half??? Come on Freeze! Time to earn your title as an “offensive genius”
  8. I get the sense that Payton can’t handle the pressure. There’s no ice in his veins. In order to win a game like this, your QB has to have some levelized moxy, some swagger. Can’t just be a practice MVP.
  9. I’ve seen high school offenses that are more advanced than what we’re running. Payton looks like a deer in the headlights.
  10. Next Travis Hunter… get ready for the Colorado NIL flip 😂
  11. Hunter is a very close friend to my sister. He grew up an Alabama fan but said his best relationship is with Dabo & Eason. He enjoyed his trips to Auburn but said coaching instability worked against us. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on Bama as it has been a childhood dream but I also get the feeling that he’s just enough of a priority to stroke the ego of a 17 year old but also likely one of the first to be processed should they land bigger fish. This is a Clemson-UA race. He’s a very polite guy so he’s not going to cut anyone off unless he gets annoyed but the fact of the matter is if UA doesn’t land other guys, he’s theirs. Unless he gets a sense of disrespect from UA, then he’s Clempsun’s.
  12. Game plan: Take care of business on the field in the first half of the season (going into ESD), throw all of the NIL money at Smith & Russaw and the rest will take care of itself.
  13. Last chance boys! Let’s go! Cardiac Cat Comeback!
  14. Glad he caught it. Definitely need to do fly ball practice or get the jug machine out.
  15. Tip of the cap to Delucia. Strong performance from a pitcher that had a shaky start to the season. He’s had our number all night.
  16. That was a terrible read by Bellow. His defense is a liability. I know the wind could’ve carried the ball but his initial jumps are atrocious. How is our backup LF?
  17. What a gritty performance by Burky! His team needed him and he went after the teeth of the lineup. Great job boys. Onto Omaha…. And the batting cages!
  18. Outside of Dichara, nobody appears to want it. We look like we’re playing not to lose more than we’re playing to win. Come on Burky!
