  1. I don't blame a single player for not wanting to participate if being asked to put their body and future on the line with the coaches running things now the way they are...barring Missouri-like performances, AU's current coaching staff isn't capable of planning, coaching, or beating anyone who lines up against them
  2. After the Penn State game, the terrible coaching decisions, the dead-last turnover margin, and gaffe after gaffe, I don't have us winning another game this season. We're on our...5th string center? I've lost count. If we haven't seen in the pros, Western Kentucky's former quarterback Zappe is now leading the New England Patriots, possibly taking over in place of former Bammer Mac Jones. I don't know that we're capable of beating WKU, I doubt we do. And I won't be surprised with the way Harsin has handled things this past week that players outright mutiny against him. The only must win we have on the schedule, in my opinion, his hiring an AD, firing Harsin, and getting a head coach in here worth his salt to stop the bleeding and keep the handful of players and commits we currently actually, somehow, miraculously, do have, for now. I expect to see more L. King and Z. Walker-type stories popping up in the coming weeks. At this point, it doesn't seem that Harsin not only doesn't care, but seems to be actively getting payback/revenge in burning the Auburn football program to the ground. I'm glad we at least have the new football center being built, that's the only positive thing I can say right about now concerning Auburn football.
  3. From what I’ve seen, it may be worse. A&M is suspending multiple players indefinitely for allegedly smoking pot in the USCe locker room. Players are thinking about leaving. I watched a few videos about it last night in YouTube. Seems like Fisher is losing/has lost total control of that program just like at FSU.
  4. I had an opportunity to go see this game in person as a student, but instead I turned it down and thought it would be a good idea to study for 72 hours for my deterministic operations research course. It was one of the only midterms I ever failed, the only class I got a D in, and one of the best games during my time at AU as a student. At least we won!
  5. AU-24, I gotta admit it. I’ve only posted for a few weeks, but have read for a while. Many times I read your threads and disagreed with them in the past about Harsin v Gus. It was time for Auburn to move on from Gus, but we/Auburn got this one wrong with Harsin and the timing of giving Gus the boot out. You were right. Kudos to you.
  6. Some players may be so tired of the BS it doesn’t matter. I’ve been through 5 corporate takeovers in 7 years. When there’s so much change and you know what you’re capable of, you’re just done with it, and go somewhere where there’s stability and you can perform to your ability. When an organization and failed leadership allows toxic people to destroy the culture, people are just done and over it. Harsin’s move is needless spite. There’s a reason we lost countless assistants and players in a single offseason, and potential assistants just said “forget this, I’m not jumping onto that burning ship.” Some players might stay, but I’d be more shocked if they stay than leave.
  7. With all due respect, I can objectively say this is the worst take I’ve ever seen on this board
  8. This may be the only advantage to let him stay, is that he’ll keep showing his @$$ and will provide the admin with a legitimate reason for not giving him a penny of his buyout.
  9. A friendly reminder we’re paying this guy to do this…🤮
  10. ^^^^^^^^ THANK YOU! 100% THIS ^^^^^^^^
  11. The reason Harsin doesn’t deserve another second. Fire him immediately and send him his stuff in a u-haul
  12. Exactly. This is for all the people saying “let him finish the season, there’s no advantage to firing him before it’s over.” Fire his @$$ yesterday 🤬🤯
  13. Exactly. In another year, we wouldn’t even have a second string, maybe not even an entire first string team of players to line up on the sideline before the game even starts.
  14. If we don’t show some progress on the new AD and coach soon, I think these stories will be in the Auburn news cycle even more than the losses we incur weekly through the rest of season. We’re not far off from being unable to field a team and pulling a UAB and shutting the program down until we get our act together
  15. I'd take Prime as the head ball coach, and Freeze as the OC any day
  16. TEXAS A&M?!?! Jimbo, come on down! I know it's not like the geographically closest, but still in the same conference...I love this meme, I don't know why it makes me laugh so hard
  17. good points. this should give the AU staff perspective on questions to ask, and should help them know what to say/do, and not say/not do with the next round of guys they interview.
  18. Any coach worth his salt would not be afraid of a contract saying he needs to sign at least 1 recruit on signing day. That’s the equivalent of you or me saying we must show up to work if we expect to collect a paycheck. Just wait until a few more Harsins and Jimbos rob these universities and embarrass them in the national media…
  19. If a coach doesn’t sign a recruit on national signing day, that should cut their buyout upon termination in half. It should work for rewards as well as punishments.
  20. Let’s do it also in contract buyouts upon termination. Not recruiting? No buyout. No recruits on signing day? No buyout.
  21. Mentally preparing for the “woulda/shoulda/coulda” while watching Deion from afar…
