I think it is relatively minor. But a bit of worry is understandable with our injury luck in recent years.

Old news. The AU case was closed a couple of years ago. -

It is a good thing for this matchup that IU seems to be getting out of the doldrums and coming back to relevance. -
I agree. Bruce has recruited extremely well. But I think Nike in particular would help increase our chances with a few of the really elite prospects.

The team's ceiling is definitely higher this year. Probably the highest it has been since the Final Four team in 2019. Significant upgrades at the guard position is the primary reason

I agree. He has sh--ed on Auburn for years.

We have earned Vitale's respect in recent years. Quite the 180 from the way it used to be from him!

My guess is he will probably end up playing for Harry Potter at Duke.

Looks like Ole Miss basketball is heading towards probation like their football program a few years ago.

His "this was Auburn's Super Bowl" comments this past year really chapped me too. Oats is a more abrasive version of Lane Kiffin, just tried to get under people's skin. And neither will ever win it all. -
Zep Jasper to debut for 'War Ready' in TBT

Good point! It seems you don't see many of the current powerhouses doing well in TBT. Their players who have recently completed their eligibility are usually in professional leagues. I would take having our guys playing in the G League or NBA over some TBT championship any day! -

Our TBT teams have been an absolute disaster over the years. Definitely doesn't sound like a promising start. -

Exactly! Oats is Gus 2.0. Once the novelty/gimmick wears off, he will be exposed as being an average coach at best. -
Being a Celtic fan in the day, not really. But I never did like Jordan, so I rooted for the Pistons in that rivalry.

From what I have read, Oats' handling of the Miller situation has caused him to lose a lot of respect in the coaching community as well. -
Marshall seemed like a project to me due to the reasons you listed. I never was high on him.

His coaching tree has been a clown show too. You have the likes of Barbee, Orlando Antigua, and Kenny Payne. -

I sure wouldn't put him over the likes of Larranaga and Beard, who have been to Final Fours. -

Overrated: Bennett Underrated: Pitino Looks pretty good overall. I think Izzo might be a bit overrated as well now, he seems to be well past his prime.
