Exactly! The path they went through to make the Final Four was basically a joke. Three of the teams (Kansas, UNC, and Kentucky) we beat in our run in 2019 were significantly better than the overrated UNC team they beat. The other 3 teams they beat to make it- Charleston, Grand Canyon, and a Clemson team that lost, what, 13 games?

WDE! We never make things easy though, good grief!

The loss to Yale was certainly disappointing. But we finished a game out of 1st place in the SEC this year, won the SEC tournament, and are projected in the top 10 in the early polls for next season. So I would say Bruce is doing just fine.

A guy that works with me is a long-time MSU fan, and is friends with Ron Polk. He played in JUCO, and has coached high school baseball for over 40 years. He told me that if the MSU job came open, he wouldn't mind having Butch as an assistant, but would NOT want him as head coach. That being said, I think Butch will likely be back for next season. But after last years flameout at home in the regionals, combined with this season, he will be in a must win situation next year.

This baseball season takes bad to a whole new level. We had some bad teams under Slater, but I can't recall a season even close to this bad. Early on, you could at least make the argument that at least we were playing really good teams. But we aren't even beating the bad teams now. It is very reminiscent of the 2012 football season, that is the closest comparison that I can think of.

Always nice when, even though our season is going nowhere, we serve a turd in the punchbowl to the turds. Hopefully, baseball can do the same.

And now we are playing the mid-lower level teams in the SEC, and can't even beat them. This is Mizzou basketball bad. Even in the dark ages under Slater, we NEVER had a season this bad. We might not win another conference game.

This year's draft class is extremely weak. So when you combine that with the season he had, his draft stock is way higher this year than it ever will be.

I supported him to the end too. Only appropriate that he chose the turds, he certainly is one.

If he has off the court issues, he found the perfect landing spot in Thugville.

And swept by a very mid Moo State team too. This team has quit, probably won't get to 5 conference wins. Heck, may not even get to 3. You want support, you gotta at least show a pulse.

I think the way UConn plays lends itself to more consistent, sustainable success than living and dying by the 3.

College basketball is different from the NBA. In a one and done tournament scenario, if you live and die by the three, one bad shooting game and you're done. Not to mention defensive rules being different in the NBA. Other recent champions such as Baylor and Kansas were not overly reliant on the 3 either. By the way, Denver ranks 29th in the NBA in 3 point attempts.
