Well it doesn't look as though South Carolina or Tennessee dont care what the SEC thinks about Hugh Freeze. Both teams are after him pretty strong. I've heard that the SEC doesn't won't any if their members to even think of giving Hugh an interview

Dan Mullens got caught trying to buy Cam. A booster that the MSU coaches introduced to Cecil Newton was banned from the program. Then  later he got MSU on probation and another booster banned and an assistant was fired because they bought a player and gave him a car. 

Now Florida and Dan Mullen seem to be doing okay. Liberty also seems to be doing okay.

Hugh is not my first choice. But I sure won't object either.

The NCAA stated there was no evidence that Mullen knew about the violation.  There is not any doubt that Freeze new about the violations.  It was all on the state cell phone issued to Freeze.

Seems like you are getting his calling an escort with his school issued cell phone issue mixed with the actual NCAA violations that resulted in some staff members getting multi year show cause bans. Hugh did not receive a show cause punishment just like Dan didn't. Not directly implicated. In fact the official NCAA ruling stated Freeze did promote an atmosphere of compliance.

Yea you’re mixing up the time he embarrassed himself, his family, his players and the school he coached at with the other time right after the first time that he embarrassed himself, his family, his players and the school he coached at.

Yeah I dont really care about his personal life. I do think Malik Willis is better for playing for Hugh and will possibly have a better life because of it. I dont think the fact Gus goes to Sunday school will change Malik's life at all. But that's not what a coach gets paid for.

I was actually referring to the 100 or so calls to a banned booster he had on his phone.  However, my mistake was he was not a banned booster at rhe time of the calls.  

You are technically you are correct that the NCAA did not cite a failure of an atmosphere of compliance but they did get Freeze for failure to monitor.  This with the overall widespread nature of the violations got Freeze a one year ban from coaching at an ncaa institution.  

An speaking of strippers, misuse of state equipment is at least an ethical violation if not criminal. 

Not defending Mullin because I think it was pretty low what he did during the Cam incident just trying to get the posters to see Freeze for what he is.

For some reason I thought he didn't get a show cause but you're right. I thought he had a two game suspension. Still I got to say if he paid the price I will support him

 Same reason I 100% support Bruce Pearl. I think he is good for the program and the kids, team and fans that benefit from his coaching. 

That said I really want a coach that knows the Bama/Clemson recruiting system. I like Tony Elliot, Billy Napier and Todd Monken who are at the top of my list

Oh I don’t care about the strip club stuff. He for sure embarrassed all those people though. I’m more concerned with the fact that he has bad blood with the NCAA. Also I think he’s just a slightly upgraded version of Malzahn and a  goofy goober. Some of the guys on here seem to think we’d have a good shot at Crystobal. He just seems like a better recruiter. He also hasn’t been run off from a school for multiple embarrassing incidents.  If we hire Freeze when we could have Crystobal it would be a travesty. It would also be the most Auburn thing Auburn has ever done.
