Democrats have introduced bills that address America’s real challenges.

1. Women’s Health Care. “The Prevention First Act of 2005” will reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and abortions by increasing funding for family planning and ending health insurance discrimination against women.

2. Veterans’ Benefits. “The Retired Pay Restoration Act of 2005” will assist disabled veterans who, under current law, must choose to either receive their retirement pay or disability compensation.

3. Fiscal Responsibility. Democrats will move to restore fiscal discipline to government spending and extend the pay-as-you-go requirement.

4. Relief at the Pump. Democrats plan to halt the diversion of oil from the markets to the strategic petroleum reserve. By releasing oil from the reserve through a swap program, the plan will bring down prices at the pump.

5. Education. Democrats have a bill that will: strengthen head start and child care programs, improve elementary and secondary education, provide a roadmap for first generation and low-income college students, provide college tuition relief for students and their families, address the need for math, science and special education teachers, and make college affordable for all students .

6. Jobs. Democrats will work in support of legislation that guarantees overtime pay for workers and sets a fair minimum wage.

7. Energy Markets. Democrats work to prevent Enron-style market manipulation of electricity.

8. Corporate Taxation. Democrats make sure companies pay their fair share of taxes to the U.S. government instead of keeping profits overseas.

9. Standing with our troops. Democrats believe that putting America’s security first means standing up for our troops and their families.

Maybe they heard some of you saying they should do something besides complain about the Republicans.

TRANSLATION FOR THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND LIBERAL POLITICS.

1. Entitlement program for one of the traditional democratic blocks.

2. Another increase in entitlements, deserved or not, that's what they are.

3. Huge tax increases to fund the above entitlements.

4. Recent reports say that the reserves are back near 100%, so this is meaningless.

5. Throw millions of dollars to one of their biggest supporters, the educational establishment. See #3 above.

6. Think inflation..... raising the minimum wage will also make it even more attractive for all those illegals to cross the border in search of income. Less free market, more socialism.

7. Bulls**t. Motherhood, apple pie and absolutely no substance.

8. Sounds great; another promise that they have no clue how to accomplish. The only way to make that happen is with a value added tax and they have no intention of even mentioning that.

9. Sounds like a complete reversal of everything we've heard from them over the last six months.

It is easy to put together a laundry list of things that sound good without having any plan, or intention to make them happen. This has been the demoncratic strategy for many years now. Unfortunately, there are lots of simpletons who will fall for such a tactic.

If that is the best energy policy the dems can come up with, they are even worse off than I thought.

But by all means they intend to not allow drilling in ARWR. By all means possible they intend to halt any and all new refineries from being built.

9. Standing with our troops. Democrats believe that putting America’s security first means standing up for our troops and their families.

Yeah, calling for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq really stands up for the troops doesn't it? That rhetoric does not encourage the terrorists to hold out and wait for the US to tuck tail and run does it?

Horsebularky! These numbskulls talk fiscal responsibility and some of them can't even pay their own bills. Ask the IRS in Florida how fiscally responsible they are.

WKMG-TV[/url]]The Internal Revenue Service slapped a lien on the party last week for about $200,000 owed in taxes from 2003. The party had only $98,000 in its bank account.

Bullcookies. Democrats blocked school vouchers that would afford students the opportunity to attend better schools with better teachers. Instead of siding with the students and parents, the democrats sided with the corrupt teachers union and NEA lobby.

8. Corporate Taxation. Democrats make sure companies pay their fair share of taxes to the U.S. government instead of keeping profits overseas.

Will the Heinz corporation be included in this?

9. Standing with our troops. Democrats believe that putting America’s security first means standing up for our troops and their families.

:roflol::roflol::roflol: Yeah right! With friends like the democrats, who needs enemies. Who called the troops nazis, gulag operators, and sued to have their votes thrown out during the liberals attempted hijacking of the 2000 election?

The amazing thing to me is these pinheads actually believe people will buy this wagonload of feces. They have no soul.
