Will Robby Ashford's shoulder injury require surgery?

I haven't seen this question asked anywhere. I know it bothered him for most of the season. It affected his delivery at times and was a big reason our staff decided to go run heavy towards the end of the season. He had trouble sleeping some nights due to the pain and he also needed assistance,at times, putting on and taking off his jersey and pads. That sounds pretty bad, especially if you play the QB position.

Do any of you know if Robby plans to have surgery on the shoulder? It seems to me if he was planning to, it would've happened right after the Iron Bowl.

I’m not aware of any planned surgery. I think his injuries mostly require rest and rehab.

It's an AC joint injury. They RARELY require surgery.  Even if they "clean it up" there is little to no medical evidence that surgery does better than rehab.  He'll be fine.

I'm a physio.  One of my patients is his cousin.  I'm told it already feels better now that he's had time to rest it

He will have surgery, but only if a plaintiff's attorney gets involved.

i guess you missed his performance at oregon this past season. he was stellar and his long balls were a thing of beauty. maybe you should look harder at hars because bo took off with the right coaching. he was in the heisman talk for a while as well.
