rexbo 104
FSU and Miami, 3rd and 4th? If people are doubting our new QB play, that's nothing compared to FSU, they have no one to line up under center. I don't know how they will score a point on Miami. Their first game against each other may end up being answered by the field goal kicker...
Guest Tigrinum Major
What about Choklahoma at number 2? They are also starting out with a new QB. Of course, they do still have Peterson, so that is understandable. What is the criteria this loser uses to determine the preseason rankings? At least he got Auburn and Bama right at 6 and 41... DKW 86 7,481
I told you guys there was an insane part to it. Maybe FSU was rated before they lost the QB, As for Choklahoma, who knows. SEC Third? Sagarin must be again...
auee90 0
I'll take 6! That's higher than most of the polls I've seen (CBS Sportsline 117 has at 2). I do prefer the underdog role, but I also like the respect of a higher ranking. FSU will prove they don't deserve top 15, never mind top 5. The others I can understand. Miami keeps bringing fairly strong teams year after year. FSU used to be like that, and is now on a down-slide. It doesn't matter anyway. The games aren't played on paper. Well, I guess it mattered last season when Choklahoma proved once again they got more than they deserve, leaving us out in the cold. Let the games begin already! SouthLink02 8
I don't care how great Stoops has recruited, OU will not be the #2 ranked team by the end of this year
rebdawg 5
Have to question OU at #2. They lost 17 or 18 starters and their usually suspect secondary is looking like swiss cheese this year. Even OU fans are predicting 3 or 4 losses.
Draven 0
OU #2 and the SEC #3 and behind the PAC-10 who in the pac-10 will do better than 7-8 wins aside from USC. Have another Sagarin
quietfan 233
ACC - 6 total, 3 top 10 #3, #4, #9, #23, #24, #25SEC - 5 total - 3 top 10 #6, #7, #8, #14, #16 Here's an idea: Since some Bama fans want to leave the SEC anyway, what say we swap them to the ACC for Ga Tech? That way the SEC can return to its proper place dominating the Top-25 without having the losers in T-Town dragging us down?

As you see Virginia has to play -@ Miami, Va Tech, Ga Tech, FSU and @MAryland. AND Maryland has to play Virginia, Va TEch, and @FSU. I don't see either of them staying in the top 25 for long. Frnakly, I don't see FSU staying there very long with a Freshman starting a QB. Now they are down to 3. SEC on the other hand, of AU, UT, UF, UGA, and LSU, I would count on at least 4 staying in the top 25,if not all 5, and at least 2 in the top 10 all year!! Pac-10 will suck this year, AGAIN. USC will most assurdely walk thru conference play, all any body can hope for is Notre Dame or Arkansas to sneak up on them, if not Cal or Arizona St. are the only two in conference that could play with them.
