I was lucky to have grown up with close family members saying and living very similar sentiments and ethics, pretty much in the identical accent and colloquialisms as Coach Dye. Yeah, most of the time fulfillment and achievement come down to really simple principles. And he could not have shot any straighter about normalized thievery in politics than he did. Terminal disease in government. A great leader is trustworthy, genuine, and inspirational. Doesn't have to be infallible. Coach Dye was a great leader and a hell of a human being.
