GalensGhost 0
With nine invitees to the NFL Combine, Auburn is the SEC's leader. No other SEC team had as many. Only three teams in the country -- USC (14), Miami (11) and Ohio State (12) -- had more. Virginia Tech and FSU each had nine as well. The list of invites was compiled by a selection committee comprised of members of the National and Blesto scouting services as well as seperate members of player personnel departments from independent teams. Auburn players invited to the Combine were: Aromashodu, Devin Jackson, Tommy McClover, Stanley McNeill, Marcus Mix, Anthony Obomanu, Ben Reddick, Troy Wallace, Cooper Williams, Travis
rexbo 104
I watched some of the Combine on the NFL channel this morning, Reddick was sloooooow in the 40, I think the slowest one, like 5.7.
metafour 4,969
Reddick didn't really look like he knew what he was doing during the 40. Theres certain technique that is needed in the 40, and it didn't look like Reddick really practiced it much. McClover (from what I hear) measured in at 6'2.5 today and weighed in at 262lbs. He will be doing all of the drills at the combine, he is also going to be doing all of the LB drills. Appearently hes spoken with the Jaguars, Panthers, and the Dolphins. The Dolphins see him as a Jason Taylor type player that can rush the passer from a two point and three point stance. Mentioned that he has recieved a 3rd round grade from the NFL advisory committee. McNeil measured in at 6'7.5 and weighed in at about 335lbs. He recorded an official 40 time of 5.07 seconds, which was pretty impressive. Looked good in the mirror drills but will need to stop bending at the waist (problem for taller linemen).
