Tigermike 3,046
Michael Slade, a 6-3, 190-pound defensive back from Lincoln High School, plans to sign with Auburn in February.
abrnfanatc 6
Great news...first Stephens and now Slade. Whoever is recruiting the panhandle is doing a bangup job it seems. Michael Slade
metafour 4,969
Its Ensminger. Lincoln is filled with beastly talent on a yearly basis, they're usually dominated by FSU but it looks like we're opening up a bit of a pipeline there. First Stevens, now Slade, and we're recruiting the Lamb Brothers, Brandon Paul, and Deshaun Barnes hard too.
vatz22au 142
Wow... 6'3 and 190 lbs? Those are some good stats for an incoming player... Just imagine when our weight program is done with him, he could possibly turn into a LB.

Slade wont play LB, unless he can put on 30+lbs.

This information is from the Depth Chart after Spring practice. I hope you are correct with us getting more size at LB. WAR EAGLE!
JohnDeere 0
Bigger and Stronger the better. But they must have speed too. The depth chart is intended to be misleading. The Coaches have it stored in their minds. I believe Herring will play w-side. Then we can also expect to see alot of 3-4 from Muschamp. A good question is who will come into play in the 3-4. I expect to see big things from C. Harden, even though everybody seems to think Blackmon is the second coming of Takeo Spikes.
Tigermike 3,046
They are recruiting several "larger" (with speed) linebackers this year. Hopefully they can get several to sign the dotted line in February!
metafour 4,969
Muschamp hasn't even coached a single game yet, obviously our LBs aren't going to magically each gain 20lbs. Those weights aren't even updated. One of the first things that Muschamp mentioned when he was hired was that he thought our LBs were too small. We've opened up this recruiting class by following more bigger LBs.
vatz22au 142
Look at Chris Evans this year.... the guy is quick on his feet and has got the muscle to go along with it.
