So which is it

Most, if not all, of what he had we gave or "sold" to him for that Iran-Iraq war. So, yes he had WMD because we were involved in his having them. There are so many resasons for us being there, but none of them are the ones this administration has stated. In other words, Bushco lied. Perhaps he had all of the other programs at one time, but he was contained, monitored and had nothing to do with 911. We are there instead of Darfur.

So, brainless. What were these unnamed lies you speak of ? Let's see 'em, or are you just spouting off more DNC talking points w/ out anything to back them up?

Saddam definatly wasn't being monitored, because we had no idea what he had. Hard to say that he was being contained, either. It's likely he had nothing at all to do w/ the actual 9/11 attack, but so what ? That's got nothing to do with why we went into Iraq. Bush never claimed it did, either.

Dude, there are spy planes over Iraq 24/7. It's a sad note that our military must enforce UN resolution(s) that have no bearing reality. Those 500 weapons you cite were from the days of the Iraq/Iran war, and there was no weapons program regardless of what paid talking-heads may say (even Bush admitted that there were no WMD, so what's it going to take for you to be convinced?). In short, we are wrong to be there and you are among the 20% who believe we were right to invade Iraq. Darfur is a more pressing issue, along with the deficit.
