WAR-MATT 2
2004 a publication named you national champs? Im sorry but the Eufala newspaper != Helms. And WarrMatt there are people in this very thread who do. Most logical thinkers don't BG. But Golf Digest is as crediable as some of the crap organizations that have awarded MNC's to Bama. GalensGhost 0
2004 a publication named you national champs? Im sorry but the Eufala newspaper != Helms. And WarrMatt there are people in this very thread who do. You're correct. The Eufala newspaper has more credibility than Helms. Thanks for pointing that out. The point is that if Bama is going to claim 12, then there's no justifiable reason for Auburn not to claim five or six. They're just as defensible as all but three of Alabama's fraudulent 12. But you know what? You don't hear AU fans running around lying to themselves and to others, consoling each other with made up numbers. Care for me to explain it to you? Because the self-worth of an Auburn fan transcends what happens on the football field. Being an Auburn fan is akin to joining a religion or being "made". It's a way of life, a way of living and a way of looking at the world that you guys will NEVER understand. We're glad you don't, quite honestly. For the vast majority of Alabama fans their allegiance begins and ends on the football field. It's all they have, which is why you see them wearing asinine (and unattractive) houndstooth hats, sporting "got 12" apparel when everyone outside Tuscaloosa knows 12 is a joke, hanging paintings of Bryant, spouting statistics for Kenny Stabler and other long-irrelevant players and throwing around words like "tradition" and "legacy" that they do not understand and often can barely spell.
