I thought the haircuts were $400. Oh, wait. That was Clinton, when he's holding up the entire flight pattern at LAX.

<_<

"He didn't lie about weapons of mass destruction or spring Scooter Libby; he just got some expensive haircuts." said spokeswoman Colleen Murray.

Riiiight.

When was the last time we had a regular guy in the White House? Not some filthy rich lawyer type.

Reagan

Harry S Truman.

The man was so honest that he left the White House virtually penniless.

Could you imagine Truman getting a $1250 haircut? Or even a $100 haircut?

Actually, Clinton went in with little, and came out in debt-- so I'm not sure being broke is an indicator of srupulous honesty. ;)

Both Clinton and Truman came from very modest, "regular guy" beginnings and both went into the WH with few assets. Although he earned them, Clinton's educational opportunities exposed him to different social/intellectual circles. Truman was not a college graduate and an unusual path to power.

LBJ was born to a poor family and became a school teacher.

Harry didn't have enough hair. Maybe a 50$ wax and shine job. :big:
