McCain obtained an Arizona marriage license on March 6, 1980, while still legally married to his first wife. No. The divorce was granted five weeks before he got married. You obtain a marriage license before the ceremony and then sign it along with the minister after the ceremony and then the license is filed with the state. Locking because this is stupid. There are many areas of policy to disagree with McCain as a candidate on. Stick to those and not dumb stuff.
