autigeremt 6,652 Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 I know the name "Liberty" doesn't scare anyone, but in lady basketball, the Flames have been a consistent winner. They were 24-7 last year and have won the Big Sky Conference several years in a row. It's not the SEC, but they were big and tried to play physical with us. Auburn responded and played a good game overall. We still have a lot of work to do, but this team fights like their coach and it's nice to see Ke Ke play the way she's been playing. WarTiger 3,910 Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 We knew coming in that this year wouldn't be as successful as last year, but fortner is a great coach and is doing well with this bunch. Isn't Carrier our only senior on the team? The other players that are the big contributors are sophomores, and freshmen, with the exception of Alli Smalley. I think she's a junior. The women's program is in pretty good shape. Hoping the sec contract will get more of their games on tv. FTR, I believe the men are on tv tomorrow night (thursday) vs. Felony State.
