lovemyAU 0 Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Former Florida coaches Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer, and Alabama coach, Nick Saban, pass away about the same time in a plane accident; and all enter the Pearly Gates, God takes them on a tour. He shows Steve and Urban a little 2-bedroom house with a faded UF banner hanging from the front porch; right beside it …. is a similar house, with the only difference….a faded “Roll Tide” flag. "These are your homes, guys. Most people don't get their own house up here. The guys look at their houses, then turn around and look at the one sitting on the top of the hill. It's a huge multiple-story mansion with white marble columns and little patios under all of the windows. AU flags line both sides of the sidewalk with a huge orange and blue AU banner hanging between the marble columns. "Thanks for the home, God, but let me ask you a question. We get these little 2 bedroom houses with faded Florida and Alabama banners, and Gene Chizik gets a mansion with new Auburn banners and flags flying all over the place. Why is that?"
