Does anyone know the updated standings? I can't find them anywhere online. This should put us in 2nd or 3rd, right? We should be ahead of LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss for sure, and behind Arky and maybe Miss State?

EDIT: Found it:

Western Division

Arkansas 13 13 0.500 -- 33 16 0.673

Auburn 13 13 0.500 -- 28 23 0.549

Mississippi State 13 14 0.481 0.5 32 19 0.627

Alabama 12 14 0.462 1 30 22 0.577

Mississippi 12 15 0.444 1.5 28 23 0.549

LSU 10 16 0.385 3 32 19 0.627

Hopefully we take another from Bama tomorrow and Arky loses to S. Car. That'd put us first with tie breakers over everyone but Miss State, and with a series win (or hopefully a sweep!) over Tennessee we'll be in great shape!

'Bama comes back to score two runs in the fourth, helped by some Auburn miscues in the field. 2-2 game, bottom fourth.

...

Auburn goes down in order in the fourth, 'Bama starter Jonathan Smart has sat down 10 straight Tigers, 2-2 game to the fifth.

...

South Carolina leads Arkansas 4-0, bottom fourth. Tigers win and Hogs loss would give Auburn sole possession of SEC West lead.

Let's follow this one until the finish...

Wes Gilmer laces a pitch to deep center, but Dugas runs it down. AU runners don't advance, one out, still first and second for AU.

After getting its first two hitters on base, Auburn watches the next three hitters accomplish nothing. Still 4-4 ... into the 9th.

Andrew Miller leads off the ninth for 'Bama with a single, Miller is 3-for-4 on the day. Sixth straight inning 'Bama has leadoff man on.

...

SAC bunt moves Miller to second, one down in the ninth.

Walk. Two on, one out

@AUPPL

Two great looking pitches from Slade Smith called balls, Smith walks Rosencrans. Tough break for Smith on two good pitches.

@JHokanson

John Pawlowski is not happy with the umpire after a pair of "apparent strikes" pitches were judged to be balls. Minor disturbance.

...

Slade remains in the game ... with runners on 1st and 2nd and lead-off hitter Taylor Dugas at the plate.

Smith gets groundball to Gilmer at third, Gilmer goes home and Caldwell tags the runner for out number two. Tide with men on corners.

...

Now a RBI single scores Dugas, giving 'Bama a 6-4 lead with two outs in the ninth. That's it for Smith, great career long outing for Slade.

...

Wade gets a flyout to center to end the inning. Tide scores three in the inning, take a 7-4 lead into the bottom of the ninth over Auburn.

Creede Simpson leads off the ninth with a solo home run, cuts 'Bama lead to 7-5.

...

Justin Hargett then flies out to left field for out number one. Tigers down to their last two outs, trailing 7-5.

...

Top of the order up for Auburn with one out, we'll see what they can do...

...

Justin Fradejas walks, tying run comes to the plate in Dan Gamache. Things getting interesting.

...

Gamache pops up to shallow left, two away in the ninth. That was a poor effort, and it's up to Casey McElroy to extend the game.

...

McElroy doubles off the wall in left field, Fradejas running all the way scores from first, Auburn is within one at 7-6.

...

Tony Caldwell now up, two outs, man on second, Tigers down 7-6 in the ninth...

...

Caldwell strikes out swinging to end the game. Auburn scores two in the ninth, but falls in finale to Alabama 7-6.

...

Auburn falls to 28-24, 13-14 on season, fall into four-way tie for first in SEC West.

...

Auburn did take three of four games against Alabama this season.

...

Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State, and Arkansas all 13-14 in league play heading into final weekend.

We just can't seem to get over the hump. Had a six run lead on UGA going into the 9th for a sweep and blew that. Now the turds get three in the ninth to ruin a possible sweep.

Yes, winning a series is important, but the way to gain ground and put somebody behind you at the same time is to sweep the thing. We'll be in Hoover in all likelihood, but go two and out there and I don't think we see the NCAA's except on TV.
