Double header Saturday. Friday got rained out. I hope that's not a bad omen. We need to take this series.

If we don't finish strong, with series wins over UAT and Tennessee and also win one or two in the SEC tournament, I don't think we have a shot at the NCAA. Our overall record now is close to .500 and we have some really bad losses.

game 1 is about to start, and its on ESPN3 for those that can get it and don't get the crappy channel called css (that shouldn't even be part of the sec network).

Auburn in blue jersey's and white pants. uat in ugly red tops and white pants, and ridiculous looking redneck camo hats.

game opens with a liner to right field and fradejas makes a great diving catch. 2nd batter up, rips one down the right field line and goes sliding into second for a double. However, they appeal at first and the uater missed the bag at first. appeal upheld, out #2. batter #3 strikes out looking. Tigers coming to bat.

Patterson strikes out for the first out of the inning.

Cullen Wacker pops up in foul territory for out #2. lengthy discussion on this one as the fielder ends up in the uat dugout. Paws arguing that he didn't stay in the field of play to make the play. Call stands, out #2.

Creede Simpson flies out to right field to end the inning and leave the bases loaded.

Tigers plate 4 in the inning and now lead 5-2 going to the top of the 8th. Should have gotten a lot more.

They keep hitting McElroy the 2nd game could be interesting. Not in anyway saying intentional hits but some AU pitchers might start a little inside pitching themselves.
