They've been standard-issue in all branches for years, but a change is on the way. The new glasses are called 5A and come in a variety of colors and frames. They'll be distributed to training centers across the country in the coming months. By the way, BCG is short for "Birth Control Glasses", the name given to the old frames because of their unattractiveness. Copyright 2012 WTVM. All rights reserved.
