IManAUBURNlifer 0 Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 We lost the Vanderbilt series, April 16,17,18. The Sunday game we got beat 3-2 by a walk-off homer in the 9th. Scrambledog 0 Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 I watched that 3=2 loss on television and, for the first time, felt like we had the makings of a competitive team. They never quit. The lineup was loaded. Since that series, we have been on fire, especially at the plate. Auburn leads the nation in several offensive categories including homeruns and slugging percentage. Maybe Coach Malzohn has been moonlighting with the baseball team. Auburn seems to have become an offensive powerhouse, and with Coach Barbee, I expect that trend to continue to basketball also.
