Mikey 16,632 Posted May 22, 2010 Share Posted May 22, 2010 Another base running mistake! Note to coach: There is no such thing as a "halfway squeeze" play. In a normal squeeze play the runner stays a safe distance from third until the results of the bunt can be seen. In a "suicide squeeze" the runner goes all out to the plate regardless of the results of the bunt. There is no play where the runner is supposed to go half way home, stop and say "Oh rats" while he/she gets tagged out. Otherwise, we are ahead of Jax State 4-0 in the bottom of the third.
