kentucky gets a runner on via walk. next batter, come backer to Martin, she throws to 2nd and Jordan to 1st, out at 2nd, safe at first. 1 out. Grounder to the left side, Jordan cuts off the ball and makes a throw to Carosone at 2nd and they get the out (replay showed she was probably safe), then a grounder to Carosone and she flips to Jordan covering the base at 2nd to end the inning. After 4 complete, Auburn leads 5-1.

Rhodes, Gipson and Shea due up for Auburn.

Grounder to the left side, 3rd baseman can't reach it, diving stop by the short stop to keep it on the infield but no throw. Runner on 1st with 1 out. Morgan Podany in to pinch run for Gipson. Courtney Shea up.

This color guy doing this game is clueless. Ever since our two home runs he's repeatedly said, two wind blown home runs. He's totally ignoring the fact that we LEAD THE FRICKIN' SEC in homers. We don't need the winds help to hit home runs, dumb ass.

kentucky has gotten a couple of base hits and 2 runs. Auburn leads now 5-3 with 2 outs runner on 1st for kentucky

Fly ball to right, wind blowing it all over the place, Podany battles it and makes a nice diving catch to end the inning. After 5 complete, Auburn leads 5-3. We need some more runs.

Draper, Howard and Carosone up for Auburn.

Myers back out having another discussion with the umpires. Nobody has a clue what these conversations are about. kentucky coach is there as well.

This idiot announcer just said Myers has a different interpretation of the rules than anybody else, yet he doesn't have a frickin' clue what they are discussing.

The discussion continues with all 3 umpires and Myers with kentucky coach listening in.

Now the umpires are together with Myers and the home plate umpire has a rule book on the field. Myers has officially protested the game. kentucky coach on the phone with somebody and now hands the phone to one of the umpires.

It's obvious the announcer has never seen or read a rule book. He seems to think its either A or B and its not that simple. Some rules are extremely complicated in all sports. Umpires have now apparently left the field and gone to the locker room. No players on the field for Kentucky. This is bizarre.

WE are being told on the broadcast that the umpires are on the phone with the rule interpreter for the SEC.

Now, all umpires are back on the field. Apparently even though the protest is filed, the protocol is to contact the supervisor of officials or rules interpreter for the conference and basically get an immediate decision. We are approaching 25 minutes on this delay.

Dave Neal isn't bad but this other guy hasn't got a clue about anything. Not surprising but good grief, shut up when you know you don't know anything.
