  1. I think the appeal will be just as interesting. Maxine Waters was incompetent enough to give him an easy appeal.
  2. I was surprised to make it this far into the thread before I saw the rolling of Toomers mentioned.... definitely don’t want to miss that.
  3. Very cool! Regarding the exterior, we need to keep it consistent with the timeless, AUsome architecture of the rest of campus. Trying to get too cute or trendy will only result in something that will look dated.
  4. So true. I’m an ASICS guy myself - fit my wide feet really well and pronation control is good.
  5. I’ve got several reasons for despising Nike: 1) Any time a company chooses to make a political stance, some bearing on that stance factors in to how I feel about that company. Nike supports Colin Kapernick, Under Armour supports our troops - easy enough there for me 2) I’ve never liked Nike shoes - their running shoes especially. Way too narrow. Under Armour is no better in that category, but I like their clothing much more than Nike. 3) Under Armour seems not to try and take over a programs uniforms like Nike does.
  6. Not to digress back to the OP for too long, but we clearly have a lot of playmakers on the offense next year. I am convinced that the success or failure of the offense will rest on the broad shoulders of the O-line. The talent is clearly there, but nothing can happen without the fellas in the trenches.
  7. The overall energy, urgency, and enthusiasm was absolutely awesome. We need that harnessed again in a couple of weeks and I love our chances!
  8. I'm amazed why we wouldn't do something that works so well. Now, I understand that part of the reason it works so well is that no one respects that it could happen, however by doing it more it might not be quite as effective in the future, but the running game would get better because teams wouldn't be able to stack the box. Stat - this is a great summary, thank you.
  9. Quite possibly my favorite player of all time!
  10. Now we can also add Pettway saying he will return next year to the list!
  11. Been a good day - Army beats Navy, and now we pick up JS! War Eagle!
  12. Guys, the 2nd half is entirely on me. I'm camping this weekend in Chattanooga where my son is in college and couldn't get satellite reception. By the 2nd half, we went to his apartment and tried to catch some of it, and clearly I jinxed things. By the way, out of state tuition, combined with the benefits of the TN Hope scholarship makes my kids attending AU close to impossible. Hope some of my younger ones can get a scholarship...
  13. I understand what you're saying, but I am speaking specifically of JF3. If we run him 90+% of the time when he's in the game, teams will understand the trends and will be less likely to expect a throwing threat. That's why the "wildcat" isn't extremely effective for most teams, due to the fact that the "QB" isn't a very effective runner in most cases. But the real reason is most likely that JF3 just isn't as accurate as SW.
  14. I wonder if it has anything to do with them wanting to think he's one dimenauonal and saving the throws to surprise other teams later on?
  15. According to AL.com today, the 3 headed monster is dead. SW is #1 & JF is #2, with JJ being "ready if needed". There was also a interesting article on Trooper (who is at Ark State) - he is very complimentary about Gus and his work ethic.
  16. What a crazy game. Discipline, or lack thereof, was critical.
