The formula gets complicated and all of the possible scenarios cannot be determined at this point, even if there is a three way tie for the regular season championship. Incorrect. There are no tie/breakers in SEC BB. If three teams finish with three losses, all three would be co-champions.

Under no circumstances will the BOT be meeting with the players re: the Harsin matter. It appears that some folks do not know about AU coming close to losing its accreditation with SACS a number of years ago because of meddling BOT members. The President of AU will be making the decision on Harsin. Who the President would like to talk with is up to him.

It has become apparent to me that some insiders have lost their objectivity and have become agenda driven. I find that very disappointing and very cabal like.

I am starting to think that the GOBs and their connected minions are making a concerted effort to get rid of Harsin. Another thing. During the season, tons of folks were fed up with Mason’s defense and wanted him gone. Now that he is supposedly leaving, many of those same folks are blasting Harsin for Mason leaving. Weird I was never impressed with Mason’s defense, but the UA game made me question my opinion for about 59 minutes. However, when the chips were down with about 1 minute to go in the game, the D was just another failure. I will admit that the optics of Mason leaving are not good, but something needed to change on the D.

Exorbitant NIL deals are not sustainable. The newness of the NIL landscape will chill and deep pockets will cut back on the payments. NIL is here to stay, but not in its present form.

It is interesting, to say the least, that schools are clearly violating the NCAA NIL rules, and the NCAA is just shrugging its shoulders. The court ruling that allows NIL payments has totally neutered the NCAA. IMO the current insanity re NIL payments will calm down in a few years. The deep pockets will get tired of absurd payments, especially when the on the field results are not commensurate with the cash outflow. That will happen.

For the first time I do wonder whether we have the right HC. That said, I do recognize that Hars inherited a disaster, and the talent level is woefully inadequate. I’ve seen enough from TJ to seriously doubt he will be the starter next year. Also, to not see anything from DD today would strongly suggest that he won’t be the QB next year. There are so many positions of need that it is incomprehensible. I can’t make a rational decision on Hars until our talent level increases, but if the talent doesn’t increase, then it would be obvious we need a different guy.
