I also bought an ECU from him ($200) rather than send him my ECU to remap. The remap is currently on sale for $350. Your total cost including the extra ECU would be $550 plus shipping. BTW, it looks really great! I had a 1967 427, convertible , 4 on the floor, tripower, yellow with black stinger hood. Way fast. My current toy is a Lexus SC 430. It’s a really nice car. I had the ECU remapped to eliminate the throttle lag, bumped up the HP, improved the air flow/fuel mixture and some other stuff. Lots quicker now. It’s a garage king.

I have made a scorched earth search to try to find out what his buyout is, without success. All I get is their AD saying it’s healthy, it’s sizeable, etc. Meta, I think you are exactly right. Upon reflection, I think my estimate of the $8 mil range is high.

It appears to me that you may be estimating what OM would owe HIM if he is fired. His buyout is what he would owe the school if he leaves for another job. I suspect his buyout may be in the $8 mil range. Sorry, @keywest, I meant to quote you.

You are correct. Houston Nutt and his attorneys blew the lid off of that mess. Cohen didn’t have anything to do with that.
