  1. You can cherry pick all the stats you want to try to justify you opinion of him. I don’t care. That said, here are his wins this year: Troy, Central Ark, GT, Tulsa, ky, vandy, Auburn, TAM…not exactly the powerhouses of 2022 college football. Fundamentally, here are my cliff notes why I think he is a bad HC. Juvenile, wanderlust, immature, lazy recruiter, surface attention only to being a HC, etc. I’m not changing my mind and I’m not trying to change your mind. BTW, I used to live in PC and spent a lot of time roaming the beaches. Fun place.
  2. Not that my opinion matters… Kiffin = great OC Kiffin =bad and lazy HC
  3. Man, you are exactly right. Hiring Prime has all kinds of advantages!
  4. I suspect that the rumor of MSU running him off is that when the PTB at MSU found out that he was talking with AU, they got mad and told him he should start seeking other positions. Pat Dye did something similar when asked by an assistant coach if he could interview at a different school. Dye told he better get the job.
  5. Actually, this is not entirely accurate. Plenty of game changers transferred via the portal. Here is an article that lists a bunch of game changers via the portal. https://theathletic.com/3540066/2022/08/26/college-football-transfer-portal-top-100-ranking-2022s-most-impactful-newcomers/
  6. I hate that my outlook on AU football has reached this, but…
  7. Spot on! Those folks need to be replaced.
  8. Normally I would agree with you, but the football program is a complete disaster right now and that MAY result in the PTB making a bold move by hiring Prime. I hope they do. I’m not an odds-maker, but I put a 40% probability on that happening.
  9. Good job! That’s not an easy exam to pass. What practice areas do you want to do?
  10. I have read his contract several times and can assure you that no mitigation/offset clauses are in the contract.
  11. That’s exactly right. I’m weary of nonsensical scenarios.
  12. DAG,IMO, if Sanders wanted the job and interviewed with the PTB, he would leave with an offer.
  13. A few years ago I watched a TV episode where Sanders was on an adventure with Bear Grylls. It was great. I won’t post a link to the episode because it is lengthy, but here is a link to Sanders talking before he started the adventure with Bear. Sanders is a real guy and I have no doubt he would be successful as the HC for AU.
  14. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one…
  15. If RM was going to be the next AD, the announcement would have said that.
  16. Good write-up @Malcolm_FleX48 I say bring him on. Auburn needs someone who can bring in the recruits on a steady basis. Also, the optics of hiring him would be great and much needed. If some board members are against him because his name would be bigger than Auburn’s name, those board members should be fired. There is something seriously wrong with thinking that…and I will not comment further…
  17. Just so you will know, had he done that it would have been a penalty and loss of down. Only the person who took the snap can throw the ball away without penalty (unless it was deemed to be intentional grounding).
