  1. Chaney Johnson looks like somebody you're seeing without glasses for the first time lol Love the energy we came out with TODAY on the road LETS GOOO
  2. Underrated conversation surrounding this topic: Are we gonna get a college basketball video game soon??
  3. Denver not a PG I'd rather live and die with Aden running 2nd unit point. I just don't feel like Denver is any sort of threat as a lead ball handler. He's not gonna finish at the rack, he's not gonna break someone down and get a good look for himself or someone else, and his handles are subpar for a lead guard
  4. Yeah CMo it's time to hang it up after that sequence
  5. Lmao you're not wrong but dude... he fell on his face and threw up an air ball in like a span of 30 seconds
  6. Damn we just killed our chances in the last 3-4 mins
  7. This feels like the same team that traveled to Starkville
  8. Lmao take Lior and Chris Moore out please
  9. Get Lior the hell outta there this is not the time for charity minutes right now
  10. The spacing and quality of looks we are getting compared to theirs is precisely why have 9 points in 9 minutes of action. This looks so clunky and disoriented on offense
  11. Cardwell is a top tier backup center at the power 5 level. He could likely transfer and end his career somewhere that would let him shine more if he wanted to get extra film. For reference, Strech Akingbola is third in the country in blocks per game at George Washington. Yohan Traore is averaging 15 ppg and 5 rbg at UC Santa Barbara. And it's not necessarily about trying to get to the NBA -- Stretch likely has secured an international contract offer showcasing his ability to block shots at that level. Cardwell obviously has way more film, but it wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to try to find a spot where he'd more of a focal point.
  12. Can't disagree with any of this regarding the PG spot. We haven't had a game changer there since Cooper. Aden could become that we will see. Harper had his struggles early on as well so I'm interested to see his development over the next few years
  13. 2nd most made 3s in a season in SEC history. He also coached Chris Lofton who is the spot ahead of Brown. But yes, it's unlikely Bruce gets someone to break those records. But we definitely need some snipers
  14. And their stadium looks like it has an asbestos problem. Him trying to comment on another team's home court is hilarious
  15. There has been a lot of people complaining about Bruce lately, and for the most part it's from people who just started watching AU bball during the Final Four run. But I'd say I have one bone to pick with Bruce, and it's that he's too damn nice and complimentary of Bama basketball way too often. Nate Oates talks **** and throws jabs at us thru the media and I'd personally prefer if Bruce dug deeper into the rivalry instead of being so nice. They're an actual threat now. It was one thing to compliment Avery Johnson to play politics etc, but Oates has thrown gas onto the rivalry and I don't feel Bruce is reciprocating.
  16. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Holy **** you did it. YOU DID IT!!! WE ARE MAKING HISTORY IN THIS THREAD, GUYS!! Hang this one in the rafters, mods. We have the literal DUMBEST POST in the history of this board right here before our eyes. It's a beauty isn't it? I'm actually honored to have been part of this thread. Thank you for your service.
  17. We need a win for sure. But a game on February 3rd when we are safely in the tournament, barring a historic collapse, is not make or break. We are still on path to find ourselves in a few weeks and playing our best ball at the right time. But this game is important no doubt. Just not as extreme as make or break IMO
  18. He's not. But we are down 1 when he checks in. Then promptly go down 5 and in the middle of that he allows an extra possession for Miss State and bricks a wide open, in rhythm mid range jump shot. He's hurting our chances to win
  19. we have to stop trying to propose Cardwell and Broome play together. Those skillsets CANNOT play together in a post 2005 basketball world. You could boil everything down to the Lior minutes being the reason we lost. We could have done everything exactly the same, go down by the big margin, make the comeback, etc -- but if you just take Lior out of the rotation that probably makes the difference. We don't have an inordinate amount of room for error against the upper half of the SEC, and trotting Lior out there to look silly and kill our chances to win dries up all of our margin for error in these games that will make the difference at the top of the conference. that's not absolving C-Mo. But at least he can tread water. Denver Jones looked like he was not ready for big time Power 5 ball last night. CBM looked like he was a little rattled with Bama's physicality. And missed a FT at the end. Jaylin Williams looked like an underclassmen for the first half. FEED BROOME. IT WAS BBQ CHICKEN ALL NIGHT HE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AT LEAST 8 MORE SHOT ATTEMPTS + TRIPS TO THE LINE YES I AM YELLING. There was no reason for him not to have an iconic 40 and 15 night. He needed more minutes and touches last night for sure
  20. Needed to get the ball to Broome more. And let's be honest we lose by 4 and Lior gave up 5 just by himself in the shorts moments he was on the floor. Simply put the Lior minutes were costly.
