  1. Probably the best technical and scheme coach on the staff. Plus he has excelled at really getting his players to work as a unit really good. That's my only concern with adding Woodson in at the CB coach because of communication but I think Coach Woodson has a good understanding of what Brown likes to do and will learn from him. And back to Zion. Gotta agree with @WarDamnEagleWDE he might be a top 25 player, however I don't think he will make it up that high in this recruiting cycle. No knock on Booth but I've had Zion ahead of Booth for a long time. I predict Booth will eventually be a safety and a damn good one but his top end speed isn't like Zion's.
  2. I don't doubt that JJ will have more receptions and yards then Dazalin at HT.
  3. Great discussion as always guys. Love this podcast.
  4. How about this as well. Playing 5 games against some of the best run stopping defenses in the country. Compared to UGA’s cream puff schedule.
  5. Wuerffel played against a different SEC back then. The DBs were horrible. Although he did have great timing and touch for his time.
  6. What??? Haven’t all our “starters” the past few years made it to the league except Bubba? His issue wasn’t just lack of talent for the NFL but his head was to far up his tail. The rest have gone on to be on NFL rosters. What they do when they get there is up to them.
  7. Very good depth pickup. Might be surprised by this guy. Could be number 2 by mid season if he learns the play book quickly in fall camp. Willis passing in A-Day even in the 7v7 was horrible. Like worse then JF3 horrible
  8. Pettway 2.0. Big back better then his rating. I’ll try to get a Top 5-10 available in my opinion. But will already throw out there I like Anthony-Richards a lot and K. Glass out of Texas a lot. They aren’t the elite of the elite but are damn good backs. D. Brown isn’t bad either we just 2 young backs similar in Boobie and Asa.
  9. But for me to get us back on track. For AU I would pass on Tahj. However his hands out of the backfield is intriguing. Going off high light tapes are tough. Would love to see full game tapes to really analyze deeper.
  10. This times 1000. For SEC backs you better have elite ability to break tackles and 1-cut ability to find holes quickly or as I term it... sudden. Or have shake and be able to House it anywhere on the field. And if you get a combo of both power and speed then watch out if they have vision to go along with it. Super Elite!
  11. The biggest issue in recruiting for me is people don’t realize how great 3 star players are at the high school level. They generally are by far the most talented player on the field.
  12. Agreed. Granted we’ve had success with both types. It’s like do you want Rudy or Bo? Both very successful for AU.
  13. Looks to be a fine running back at the high school level. I would probably rate him an 86 on the 247 type scale. About as good a 3 star back as you could wish for. From the high lights he is very good in the open field but lacks speed to pull away from SEC DBs. He doesn’t press the line of scrimmage enough. Seems to only press the line on toss sweeps and handoffs out of the pistol formation. He does have very good feet but still not elite. He may be carrying about 10 pounds to much weight. Oddly enough he reminds me of a short Todd Gurley/Carnell with the way he gives to the side of the tackler. As for AU I would pass. He could be a solid back for a program like GT, Vandy, Kentucky.
  14. I haven’t watched anything on him yet but will. I like the Anthony-Richards kid. I think that’s his name but I’ll take a look at Tahj
  15. Asa Martin is/was considered elite just last year. People need to calm down. Geez.
  16. Otey announcing a commit this week may be a play by him to see if our coaches want to accept it or not.
  17. I’m not saying SC can’t beat UGA I just don’t think down the road they can keep the pace as the schedule goes on. Still have to remember UT and UF will still have more “talent” on their rosters.
  18. I don’t think USCe has enough depth to win 10-11 games to win the east. UGA easily takes the east. A down UT, UF, and a non recruiting rival that comes now where close to competing talent wise is a recipe for success for UGA.
  19. I'm not sure Zion isn't a better athlete overall then Booth. Booth will struggle early because of lack of top end speed.
