But I don't think Britt will shut his recruitment down and I don't think T-Will and Steele will put up with his games. Understood. Just passing on info from other sites as a full disclosure. I think Jeremy had a mental issue that was beyond anything the coaches could fix. Now, should they have identified this ahead of time? Maybe. But I don't entirely blame them for failing to accurately simulate an actual college football game to test the mental strength of a guy who had already performed very well in actual college football games. This all goes back to Gus not wanting physical practices.

The kids did play hard for Gus and that is a huge credit to Gus and how the team feels about Gus. But Gus did not have this team ready to play last year. All I was saying.

Gus needs to address depth problems before they become problems. Gus's, get thin and load up philosophy, is going to come back and haunt him. And a huge reason AU is having to take JUCO anything. AU should never have to take a JUCO RB out of need. This is the case here. Good pickup but just filling depth issues. I hope the kid light's it up, don't get me wrong. But AU should be STACKED at RB right now. This is one of my red flags with Gus. And I believe this is a issue with Gus not being very organized. Not like a coach on a perinatal all time top 15 school anyways. IMO. Like I said I'm going to give Gus this year and I hope like hell he turns this thing around. But I'm going to call it like I see it.

This is not true at all. Zip. Zilch. Say what you want but those players did leave it all on the field last year. Never gave up one time. Not even when LSU was waxing them. Gus did those kids a disservice last year.

I just can't remember too many times that a kid who grew up a bama fan, was a top priority for bama and picked AU. This is a bigger lost to uat than MB not going to AU. From what I was just told I don't think the AU coaches knew Troxell was coming to commit today. Huge surprise. Damn fine job by the AU coaches.

I'm pretty sure they are just saying to not get too far ahead of ourselves. I don't think he had grade issues. If he did he would be in summer school right now I don't know. Four straight posts allude to some problem with grades. If there is no problem, I wish one of those four would come back and say it's all a bad joke. No joke. But in the end I think all will be ok.
