Malik is quick. I mean real quick. And it appears that he is going to give us that true dual threat QB position that so many have said that CGM offenses needs to be successful. However, he seemed to be a little too quick to pull the ball and run last night. I'm going to chalk it up to being nervous and wanting to impress but against better defenses, he will need to slow it down a bit to make the right read and let the plays develop. Nonetheless, I think we got a good one in Malik Willis. Looking forward to watching him play more. And, I like your assessment of McBryde. He was one of my favorite LB targets and I was excited to see him sign with Auburn. I too thought he looked very good last night and played well. We finally have quality depth at the LB position so I'm afraid we won't get to see much more of McBryde but he looked like a baller in the Mizzou game.

What would the stats have been if we had run our other super duper, covert, double naught spy offense that were holding back to release at just the right time?

Great points. Hard to argue with most of what you wrote. I have said all along that CGM is a 7-9 win per season coach (on average), no matter what school he is at. As a fan base, we (and the AU administration) need to decide if that is acceptable.

If you are a decent player and make a name for yourself there are contacts that help you in business, law, politics, and other fields. As bad as I hate to admit it, if you are a player from bama with a recognizable name it helps you after you graduate. ^^This
