Congrats to Bo on working hard and getting drafted. I’ll always give someone credit for leaving a bad situation to improve their own, especially when it’s a difficult decision. He was here during the worst coaching hire in our history. All that coupled with the scrutiny that social media provides added a layer of difficulty. And that’s not necessarily unique to him. What is, perhaps, is his legacy. And on the arguing. It seems to me that people begin to argue about a particular player and when it gets heated, it becomes less about the player and more about defending their own opinion. It becomes personal. I know I’ve done it.

Very cool interview. What he described is pretty well what my mind had mapped out. Dad took the hit to move on. As to why they didn’t “out” the source at the time? I think Cam’s dad knew what the right route was. Taking off the O/B glasses, I would imagine most football fans thought we were guilty of paying him through the lense of their own biases or media driven angles. It’s best to take that grenade and move on knowing the truth.

Exactly. None of this is happening in a static environment. Rosters from year to year are going to constantly change. More so now than ever. Also, this idea of a gradual progression of wins is very intriguing to me. Most notably, how does the qb position play out. Does Thorne play well enough this year to keep a stronghold on the starting position? If so, we enter 2025 with a new starter. How much experience does that starter come in with? There is a lot riding on this year.
