I'm just glad we have enough depth to be able to redshirt these freshmen and let them mature and not have to rely on them to start if they are not ready.

WDE and welcome to the plains Malik.He already looks better than some QB's we have had recently,he doesn't look as fast as Nick Marshall but he already may be a better passer and he looks good with his ball handling in the zone read.

But he may have been even better if he hadn't worn that unlucky number,seems like I remember he had several knee injuries.

That could change before the season starts and Sean needs to ditch that unlucky #13 no wonder he stays hurt all the time.If I was the coach there would be no #13's on my team.

Maybe,but there is no way to know for sure that KB would be let go,he could have played this year and maybe KB was fired or maybe he wasn't and if he is a good as we think he would've just had one year to tough it out and go pro.I just wish he would go ahead and commit to us already,I do think he is what we need at the QB position and I'm a big SW fan.

I just don't get him quitting Baylor if wanted to play for KB so much,he was still the OC.I must have missed something in these last thousands of posts.You would think if that was a top priority for him he would have never left.

It almost was,Gus said it was 3 or 4 games into the season before he knew what he had in Cam.

I think I saw an Auburn team not playing with fire and intensity that is required when playing an SEC team and maybe took vandy a little to lightly.The holding calls may have been a good thing to get us ready for all the bad calls we will get in Athens and turdville in the upcoming games.

If I remember right that team started slow and continued to get better as the season went on and then of course we beat the turds in the first ever Iron Bowl at AU.Maybe this team is like the 89 team.

Pettway is just an old fashion hard nosed football player.He was also a good fullback,he could probably play a lot of positions and play them well.Glad he is on our team.That run last night when he ran over the arky player reminded me of Ronnie Brown running over Jason Allen from UT in 2004.

I know we as Auburn fans would love to see the team win in a blowout,but we may need to give moo state a little credit for our woes in the 2nd half.They were being embarrassed on their own field and may have just dug a little deeper and played a little harder in the 2nd half.It's also hard for team to keep their edge and intensity with a big lead.

I say play him,the risk is worth the possible reward.You can't coach afraid someone might get hurt.Get your best players on the field.

Kerryon Johnson played like a man possessed after being thwarted on the 4th & 1 play during the first half. Yes he did,if they could get a little more good weight on KJ and him run like he did last night it would be great.

I guess Carl was unblockable by our o-line just not everyone else.
