  1. Wait…. I thought Crime Dog was happy in his off-the-field position? WTH happened?
  2. Players take on the personality of their HC. Hugh admitted he was removed from game planning on multiple occasions this season and therefore his players looked uninterested, lacked a competitive spirit and lacked a leader. Someone inside the AD told Hugh to be laser focused on talent acquisition and put roster development and actual game planning on the back burner. That’s a risky strategy in this conference, I guess we’ll see if it works out or not.
  3. IMHO, no one with Auburn has the right to feel superior or “above” any other team right now. Auburn just turned in 3 straight losing seasons, Auburn shouldn’t discount a Terps team because we think they don’t measure up to Bama/Dawgs caliber. We had 7 freaking loses as an SEC team which is pure crap.
  4. I didn’t have them in after the IB win, I knew they’d have to end UGAs 29 game winning streak and win the SEC to get in the playoffs. Personally, I don’t think an SEC Champion should ever be left out of the CFP. An SEC gauntlet is a damn hard maneuver and whichever team wins the conference should get a shot at a NC.
  5. How are we supposed to get our bids in when he doesn’t want to be contacted by teams? I mean our coach has to make contact to throw out the AU sales pitch somehow.
  6. I have no idea exactly what players are physically doing to earn their NIL. We know Auburn players are getting paid. I live less than 45 minutes from Auburn campus and I haven’t seen billboards, or heard a radio advertisement from a single football player even though I’m in Auburn almost weekly. Not even the local restaurant or local businesses have any meaningful marketing or advertising sponsorships with our players that I can tell as a regular person and fan that attends sporting events regularly.
  7. The word on the street is it’s going to take +$1.5million to buy a top QB out of the portal. 🤑
  8. Sure the NFL has salary caps, but the NFL doesn’t have any authority to cap or regulate what an NFL player can make on his NIL. Professional athletes can make as much money as someone will pay them for endorsement deals. They can do all the State Farm, Wendy’s, Hanes commercials and marketing they want with no restrictions or regulations from the NFL.
  9. Amazing how the “galvanizing effect” literally turned on a dime in the span of 7 days. Lol Last week’s game was a display of lackadaisical and lazy play on-the-field, poor coaching from the sidelines and it appeared no one GAS. Seven days later, a very thin and talent deprived team stood toe to toe with one of the nations better teams and played with a lot of heart. Played UGA with a ton of heart too and pissed around vs a G5 opponent. What a roller coaster.
  10. Bama’s last 2 visits to JHS have been reverse voodoo and bad for Auburn.
  11. Auburn can damn sure be more competitive in the SEC than they have been in spite of what UGA and UAT are doing. Auburn has sat back and watched other teams improve and get better with a multitude of coaches, and this season is considered a down year for the conference as a whole. What does Auburn do when the league is down? We’re pissing around wallowing in the basement with the other down teams rather than taking a seat at the head of the table. Its passed time Auburn stepped up.
  12. The results last Saturday didn’t exhibit much hard work or talent and some of that falls on Harsin & Co.
  13. Take care of yourself and we will take care of the prayers for you. Thanks for your daily dedication to the board.
  14. Posters on this board, mods glossing over glaring issues everyone sees on the field. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen posts that this is a throw away season, that Hugh isn’t very involved with the team because he is busy with recruiting. Have you paid any attention to Hugh’s comments relative to his current roster, recruiting, game prep, play calling, the talent level of his team?
  15. Aw man, the Auburn administrators ensure the coaches both past and present aren’t poor. Lol
  16. I don’t view Hugh as a detail oriented person. His own appearance is disheveled and he looked like he was nursing a hangover when he got on the field Saturday before kickoff. He’s not detailed enough to be able to juggle recruiting at a high level AND preparing his players for a game vs a G5 level opponent in our own house. He’s not detailed enough to prep the offense, dictate the offensive game plan or make the needed halftime adjustments for his team. He knows what it takes to win in this conference, im not sure he knows how to handle an SEC HC coaching position at an SEC program of Auburn’s level? We’ll see soon enough.
  17. Since you’re a psychologist, what does it say to the locker room when the HC constantly tells anyone that will listen that his players are weak and inferior? How does the locker room react when the HC is basically MIA and is consumed with recruiting rather than getting involved and coach his existing roster? How should the players react when their coach is treating this as a throw away season?
  18. I’m not so sure the team feels bad about this loss. They beat us in the trenches and at every position group. There was a total lack of care, effort, preparedness or urgency in this game and it resulted in an asswhipping in our house.
  19. Just what everyone needs, a sermon on perspective from a person that didn’t even watch the game. Lol Next thing you know he’ll be stumping for OTV and telling us about the importance of donating so we can buy better players that can compete against the likes of NMS. 🤣
  20. The coaching in several games this season has been sketchy, players have looked unprepared way too much. Maybe this is a side effect of having to many portal players, IDK?
  21. What the heck has Auburn accomplished to get to the stage of overconfident? Seriously, WTH?
  22. Is anyone a little surprised at how well Mike Bobo has handled that offense? It looks much faster and more creative than anything I saw when he was at AU.
  23. What a sucky time to be floundering around the bottom of the barrel as a football program. Seriously, freaking Gaspirilla/Birmingham bowls. Gawd, I’m ready for Auburn to be relevant and respectable again.
  24. Auburn has appeared in the Bham Bowl more than any other SEC team, haven’t they? excuse me while I 🤮
  25. It doesn’t scare me because I’ve always known that’s what Hugh/Gus were relative to their philosophy, creative perspective and stubbornness. Everyone should know what they’re getting with Hugh. Just got to hope he lands a QB, WRs and a line that gives him the tools to operate his offense in this league.
