  1. According to this, and given the huge dollars they receive and spend on athletics, Auburn and TAM yield a very poor return on investment. The question for both is “why.”
  2. Tucker Frederickson and Larry Rawson. Both were tough as nails and inflicted pain on would-be tacklers. They also clear-cut defenders for Jimmy Sidle on on the QB sweep.
  3. Broome, Green, Jasper, Moore and Johnson combine for 4 points in the first half. No points + no chemistry = nothing good
  4. Having the first sell out at the new Protective Stadium would be great. This is a terrific stadium and AU can pack it. Forget the distance from Lee County.
  5. Just a very uninspired effort in all areas. Poor play calling, lifeless defense, schoolyard offense and a game plan no better than what Vandy or Kentucky would have. Either change the leadership or be resigned to mediocrity interrupted by occasional embarrassment (like today).
  6. Great analysis - terrible news. We need new coaching perspectives on both sides of the ball.
  7. Mike Fuller also deserves a nod. Fearless punt returner and almost never let a punt hit the ground.
  8. Agree with John Kilgore. On Shug's teams that did not score many points and relied on defense and field position, Kilgore kept the opponent pinned down for 4 quarters.
