He should be. He won’t be the QB come next year. There was a reason TJ started ahead of Robby. He has athletic ability but he is just not a QB just as Oregon knew last year. 🙁

Robby’s biggest problem is he doesn’t have a field view. He just looks at his main target and if it isn’t open either run or throw it away. We had a sure touchdown in that drive after the run the TD in the kickoff and Robby saw it but froze up.

No but remember the lack of any quality players is because of Harsin. The new coach is going to have to rebuild . Even player I thought were decent just haven’t lived up to par.

Cadillac needs to bench Robby for at least a series and let Grainget come in. Robby needs a timeout to think about things. Also whoever the coach is he better hit the portal for a new starting QB because we don’t have one. Robby is a good athlete but not a good QB. 🤔🙁

Nope as a player in my younger years I know the power of a coach you believe in. It just brings out the best in you as a player. You are willing to run thru brick walls fir them and the player just didn’t feel that for Harsin and it was his own fault. In addition I think Harsin’s stupid coaching cost us several games that this team could have and should have won over the last two years. I think the ability exist in this team it just needs to be coaxed out and Cadillac is just the guy to bring it.

Yep but you will see a big attitude difference in these guys and Coach Williams will bring that . I know one thing I am a proud Auburn football again today and I haven’t been in a while. And I will be supporting Coach Williams and the team with all my heart for the rest of this season , win or lose and I will no longer berate the player or the coaches . I just want these guys to go have fun and give it their best and I can Assure them that Auburn will be proud of them all. War Eagle👍🙏😊🦅🦅🦅

Actually I have seen signs of a good team hidden here behind a bunch of crappy coaching moves and calls. Remember just like last year against Bama this team could have won that game had it not been for a couple of coaching blunders. Like not going for two on the first OT when you had an injured QB. I mean that call right there was when I knew we had to fire Harsin. He had zero guts. Then will go for 4th and 10 at our own 25 being only one TD down this year. I mean folks this is sandlot coaching at its best. 🤔🙁

I think your wrong. I think it was all about the guys and they like Cadillac and Cadillac has been hands down the best coach on the field for the last two years. 🤔

Agreed. I think the players did what they could . I think stupid coaching has cost us over the last two years. Stupid play calls, stupid player rotation, and stupid guidance by and egotistic coach that never could over come his own stupidity. Glad he is gone for the sake of these players.

While normally I would agree we are in a new era. With the portal and NL and 4 months for Deion to work his magic recruiting I think we can compete . I didn’t say win a championship 🤔😊🦅

I think Deion would be a great choice. I’m telling you one of the reason Saban has been as good as he has is due to recruiting and Deion will give Nick a run for his money in that department because he has the style to convince kids to come, especially in the NL era. And like they say it’s all about the Jimmies and the Joes. Also Deion with AU money will bring in a star-studded coaching staff that will be impressive.With the portal and a few months till signing day, Deion will have us ready by next year to compete. Just my thoughts. I like Kiffen but I think with what he has at Ole Miss he isn’t ready to move to AU at this time.

Nope because I’m sure that Cohen probably said “ I will accept the job as soon as you fire Harsin, because I don’t want him at Auburn”. And the president chose to fire Harsin now and not later . Again folks the payout for Harsin is less that 10% of the yearly intake of AU football. It’s not worth ruining another year to wait till December to do what you know would have to be done anyway. Good move by new president and new AD letting perspective coaches know we won’t accept average at AU. Glad Cadillac will be in charge for the remainder of the year. 👍🦅🙏😊

I agree. I’m just talking about his disposition. You can see it in ever interview. How he responds to questions. He is always snarky in his response . Like daring anyone to question him. You hear it from the players who feel like he tries them under the bus and tries to avoid any blame for the outcome when it’s bad. Just a cocky attitude. I think he lost the players last year. Sone left then, sone left this year. They will all leave if we don’t get a change made soon. That’s what I fear most. The transfer pool may fill up fast. I’m hoping that the idea is to bring Cohen in to fire Harsin and let him make the search . By the way just read where someone asked Bo Jackson about Deion. Bo said Deion could be successful anywhere he coached because He coaches old school and with his personality he could recruit with the best and get the best out of his players just like He is doing now in the lower league. I think that’s important. The only negative would be whether he could bring coaches in but I believe with his connections he could bring in some great coaches. 🤔🦅👍

You are so correct. We are loosing the recruiting war and that will kill AU football.

So the real truth is all the people in the AU leadership are as dumbstruck as any of us are. They really had no idea how far down, Harsin would take the AU program. Now they are trying to reckon if they keep him how much worse it can get and if they fire him can they really hire a decent coach after the program has burned to the ground. This is not an easy correction to make. As far as Harsin, if you have spent time out west you would know Harsin’s character is a lot about where he is from. He doesn’t make friends easy. He doesn’t trust others much. And he is over trusting in himself. The biggest problem he has is he hasn’t become a member of the Auburn community like Coach Pearl has or even as much as Gus was. He doesn’t realize that his attitude and demeanor is often offensive. I don’t think the players have ever had much confidence in him and that is the base of our problem right now. This isn’t to say Harsin isn’t a good person he just doesn’t understand that you have to adjust to the field that you are playing. I have no doubt that Harsin will not coach another year at AU. I think that is a given . The question today is when you fire him. And no it’s not the money. AU football is a 175 million dollar a year business. 20 million buyout is not the concern. Reputation towards hiring another coach is. It could come as early as tomorrow or it may wait until after Alabama creams us. But it will happen. 🤔🙁

Thank you . And I agree completely. As I said when we actually look back at our beliefs and customs we will see had we been born to different parents in a different country we would have viewed the world much different and we would act quite different . It’s all about the window we view from.

But even in that Bama game Harsin still found a way to make a stupid play call at the end and lose it. There have been way to many stupid play calls by Harsin. I have never ever in my life seen one coach make so many stupid calls. Never. At times I’m just totally confused how a person could even think the call he made was a good call. We aren’t losing games because of lack of talent or trying, we are losing games because of insane calls by the head coach. The only fix is to rid Auburn of Harsin. Will we do better ? I don’t know. But I do know the chances of getting a coach that makes as many stupid calls as Harsin are pretty near zero. In fact I doubt that there is a college coach anywhere that makes as many insane decisions . I think Harsin should just retire and find another career . 🤔

I actually wrote and published a book on the subject of our inherent bias. As we grow up and follow our path we come to assume that everyone should be like us. Not understanding that had any of us been born to a different family and a different country we would be far different in our view points today. That’s doesn’t mean anyone is bad. It just means that we should accept people are different, not because they are evil but because of the path they travel. Look at your high school friends and where they are now. Most likely different than you. That is because of the path they traveled. Just because I grew up with a dad that preferred a Ford, doesn’t mean that someone else is wrong because they prefer a Chevy . But we become defensive to try and prove our way has to be the right way instead of understanding the old saying “different strokes for different folks”. That’s a major problem today. I can assure you I heard a lot of comments about my dress in the late 60s from folks around my country town in Alabama. And today my choice of dress is much different , again due to the path I traveled after HS like the military, living in other countries and all over the US. If I put you on Mars today you would think it to be abnormal, but the fact would be that you were the only thing abnormal on Mars because Mars has been Mars for billions of years. Just saying.🤔

Exactly they could have fired him for cause last spring had they had the courage to do so. Now once again the people in charge have screwed Auburn again. I think it is time to start removing the people in charge that have blocked the removal of Harsin. We owe it to the players to get it done now . If not we may not have a single player left on the squad come January. 🤔🦅

I’ll say this when I played sports in school ( way back when) we dressed up for games as players . Coach wanted us to remember we were representing the school and I think it helped our attitude and improved our effort. It also helped remind us it was we and not I. Game day attitude matters for players and students . 🤔

Really I think Robby was fussing because no one else was hustling . One of the few decisions Harsin made right was pulling Robby after his screw up. I watched Robby in the sideline mad about it. When he came back in he did so with an attitude and he let the other players know. That’s when Auburn began to play ball. I give Robby his due he gives it his all. If he just had a decent QB coach around him that kept his attitude in check and made him understand as a leader he needs to do what he did yesterday and that was fire up the other players. He also has to learn to be more controlled in his game. Great QBs have great command, confidence and patience . He needs to energize his guys but also in a way that also gives them confidence. He has some great athletic ability he just needs to get more focused. I never doubted these players can play with anyone but they just don’t have a leader in Harsin. The sooner we move on from Harsin the better it will be for these players. If AU wants to retain a team for next year they should pull the plug now and give the guys hope for next year so they might stay. 🤔

We need to end this embarrassment and fire Harsin today. Best case scenario is we win one more game this year against Western. We might as well start the coaching search now and get ahead of other teams. 🤔

You are goin to see many more in college football. After the deal with Tua and others they are going to err on the side of keeping players safe. We may not like it but it is the right way to go.
