  1. Great toughness, awareness from Battie on that run. Love it.
  2. It's not great, but it's nowhere near what some are posting. We look out of rhythm, but not completely hopeless.
  3. Well. We have two pass catchers, at least. Not sure about the rest of them.
  4. Yes sir, agree. Turn it over 4 times around midnight CST against a team who is extremely hyped to play you, and actually come out on top? Lots of chaos, but it’s not a bad win. Just shows us how deep the hole was that Harsin left us in. Thorne’s mechanics are good but he needs more time with the few talented wide outs we have to get going. Still a ways to go before we’re truly good again, but I have some hope for the season still and momentum is in the right direction. Harsin loses this game handily.
  5. Smart move by James to hang on. Could’ve been a reverse-Dyer situation.
  6. On limited carries. Feed Hunter and he’ll break one.
  7. Why are we feeding Cobb? Give Jarquez the damn football.
  8. The Cal kicker is a national disaster. It is physically painful to watch him try to kick a football.
  9. Will I ever see an adequate passing offense at Auburn again? We gotta give Brother Hugh more time to work, but … man. This is frustrating to watch. We’re lucky Cal is this bad or it could be really ugly.
  10. If this actually happened, is there really any doubt that the offer would’ve come from TAMU? This is their MO, not ours. I get that blaming it on AU probably makes the Perry flip feel better but this doesn’t fit.
  11. Can we stop salivating over these teenage girls, please? We’re here to salivate over these teenage boys. Let’s get back on track.
  12. Sad sack of potatoes probably riding an elevator somewhere right now with his little ‘stairs only’ sign.
  13. That was the most KD move ever. Critical possession and he just dives into some out of control drive that results in him on the ground with basketball flying into the air at some awkward, vaguely basket-adjacent angle.
  14. Sounds like he’s awake and making steady progress on the ventilator. Not totally out of the woods but reason to have cautious optimism. Very good news.
  15. Very sad indeed. I take care of a lot of post-cardiac arrest patients (though most are not trauma-related like this) and lecture to our med students on arrest/post-arrest care. It looks like he got high quality CPR very very quickly which is very positive, and he had a shockable rhythm with return of spontaneous circulation on the field. If this was truly commotio with VF and an early shock, he has a real shot. There’s no guarantee that he will survive or fully wake up, but for an arrest patient he actually has a reasonable chance. Generally there is no long-term damage to the SA with true commotio. It’s an induced arrhythmia but the underlying conduction system is usually ok. He needs a thorough cardiac eval to make sure there are no other underlying issues, regardless.
  16. Some truly delusional posts in this thread. This is a huge win for AU, and the best coach we could’ve realistically hoped to bring on board. Only Deion was in this tier, and he had many more question marks. The man has grown over the last twenty years as a person and a coach. Fantastic news!!! Can’t wait to see what happens in the portal next month…
  17. Honestly, I haven't had any fun watching Auburn football this year. But right now, I'm having fun. Win or lose, thank you Cadillac.
  18. Hahahahaha.... this is so crazy. Both TOs. I just love it.
  19. I have CHILLS thinking about Caddie's halftime interview now. Paraphrasing - "Someone's gonna break, and it ain't gonna be us." LEGENDARY!!!
