We get it man. Caddy is trying to make something out of (almost) nothing- relax. Was an opportunity to set a tone and generate a spark in a game we’re going to lose without one. I’m not upset about it.

Well… we are who we are at this point, but at least Harsin is gone. Gonna enjoy watching these kids play under Caddy regardless. WDE. Whatever happens tonight, the future is brighter.

Concerned I may be having a stroke. I just cheered for a Marcello take on Twitter and am pulling hard for Lane Kiffin or Deion Sanders to be our next coach. Life is weird.

Yea fair enough, I think that’s valid. Mostly I’m talking about the people who keep suggesting that he’s actually a really good coach, or that he’s going to win a bunch of games if we don’t fire immediately. He’s not a good at any facet of the game, and it’s not the ‘situation’ at Auburn that is the problem.

I’ve been amused by all the commentators recently who keep saying that we’ll all be sorry about Harsin once Auburn beats A+M and Ark and WKU. People keep suggesting it’ll be hard to fire him if we keep him too long. Look at this team against an absolutely atrocious defense today - DURING the half of the game where we sometimes score points, no less. No, we won’t be sorry. He’s the worst coach at AU in decades. He is not good at any part of the job.

This coaching staff seems to think Shenker is a shifty, fast guy. It is extremely confusing to see how they try to use him.

Obviously Harsin needs to go and we need an o-line, but I felt like you could really see the potential of our young wideouts and qb on display last night. We’ve got some talent on offense.

You’re supporting Deion for the HC role but you’re concerned that Grimes may be too selfish? The ‘No HC experience’ concern is legitimate, but IMO he’s our best bet.

Is there a reason Aranda is not on this list? After him, give me Grimes or Kiffin. Deion is just too risky. Could take us higher… or far, far lower. Not worth it.

Like this list but would put Aranda and Rhule at the front. Not sure either is realistic, though. Might bump Freeze up to at least Grimes tier, too.

Serious question: is there any reason to wait to fire Harsin at this point? It seems that this season is lost regardless. Recruiting can’t get worse than it is.

I’ve been quietly trying not judge Harsin too early… but… come on, guys. This ain’t it, and the recruits aren’t coming. You can blame whomever you want for his failure, but the writing is on the wall. We’re not going to rebound from this with him.

Offense is who they’ve been for a few years now. Appreciate the job TJ is doing- he’s trying. Defense finally regressing to the level of their current coaching. We are moving backward.

Painful end for this team. Teams figured out how to defend us and things really fell apart down the stretch. Oh well - we had a really fun regular season. Thanks for the memories Jabari!

Rough game but it's been an awesome year with some real highs.

We aren't at our best at the moment, but the tournament hasn't started yet. We'll see if they can get it back together. Still time.

Down by 1 on the road to a very good team that hasn't lost at home in a loooong time. We have our issues but we're competing. This team has a lot of fight.

Tough loss, but it happens on the road in the SEC. Some things to clean up - turnovers and shot selection by everyone not named Jabari. Chill on Wendell a bit. No doubt the kid is playing his heart out for Auburn. He's been in a bit of a rut, will heat back up eventually... just hope it happens soon. He's put it all on the line for us, regardless. I think Bruce will learn from this last possession and AK, the way the team responded. Take the L here vs final seconds in a game in the tourney. Pretty clear the ball has to get to Jabari. War Eagle everyone. Still very proud of this team.

Don't worry man. Some other posters told me we will get many recruits because of the, uh, size of Harsin's balls. I'm assured they are very impressive, though I have not seen them myself.

Hard to see this as a good decision. Lots of damage done when we were already in a weak position. Only going to make things harder. How do you sell Auburn football to a legit recruit right now? Hope to be wrong, but my expectations are very low.

They said we couldn't Auburn any harder when we nearly had a secret coup for an internal coordinator promotion last time, and yet here we are. Napier was my guy last time. This time: Aranda or bust.
