  1. And the alternative music anthem of my high school days, live in the X Lounge
  2. Don't you people ever work? . I've been too busy to get on here much lately. Every time I peek in, there's pages of middle of the day convo. Must be nice lol. I'll at least add something, don't believe I've posted this one before. Can't find the actual video, but the sound these two achieve together is quite impressive.
  3. That was surprisingly good. Took a little bit for that singing style to settle in on me. They're bringing it old school. Quite refreshing to hear new music with real emotion.
  4. Great collaboration And here's a repost...another great collaboration just in case Loof missed it earlier in the thread. My favorite cover of a song. The way Warren and Tim bounce off each other is just unreal.
  5. Taj... If watching this man perform doesn't bring a smile to your face or make you feel something inside, music may not be your thing. One of the greats IMO. http://youtu.be/XwfuuYF7_cs
  6. Not sure, but I don't think the man himself has been posted in this thread as of yet...can't have this thread without
  7. In honor of this sure to be amazing concert (Warren Haynes is one of my all time favorites)...let's revisit the original!
  8. Missed this one in Bham a few weeks ago. Wish I could have caught that show. Would have been a great one.
  9. What the hell from me too... actually very good musicians
  10. I lost interest in listening to rap years ago, but that's not terrible
  11. Long video, but well worth the watch when you have an hour.
  12. And one of the greatest guitarists of all time: And he can sound like a violin ....(uses an echo and works the volume knob with his pinky like crazy!)
  13. One of the best harmonica players you'll ever hear. Most have probably heard of them...but most have probably never heard their early stuff. This is from one of their first albums in the early 90s. Heard these guys at Springfest in Montevallo with 4 other bands for $10 around '92. They were at their best before they got commercialized.
  14. He also had an amazing presence on piano. He didn't play anything amazing, but his use of chords and phrasing on Invitation to the Blues and On the Nickel among others is unlike anything I've ever heard any other artist play. Sure people cover that sound, but I've yet to hear another original artist that uses similar. Just reaches inside and touches the soul.
  15. Pretty accurate description of small town Oklahoma. Ain't nothing to do but raise hell and drink beer
  16. TT...for being so involved in writing, you should definitely appreciate the episode above. The writing is a little crazy, but pretty impressive.
