  1. If any of you like heavy metal and have never heard of Vika... Absolutely UNREAL piano player. Mind blowing in fact. Covers tons of metal and rock songs
  2. Here's a local Bham guy that gets a bunch of songs in movies and such...Charlie Terrell. Clip is from one of my favorite cult movies ...Pool Hall Junkies. Charlie is in the clip, he's the guitar player on the left with the hat. Cool song.
  3. Underrated and forgotten band there. That song makes my regular playlist. One of my all time favorites.
  4. Can't have singer songwriters without listing 2 of the all time greats And here's the guy they had the all time most downloaded episode of Austin City Limits. Anyone know it? Strange and incredible artist
  5. My all time favorite stones song, recorded in Muscle Shoals Alabama. There was just something in the water in Muscle Shoals. If you haven't seen the documentary on it, it's a must watch for music fans.
  6. Saw the Band on the last page. Here is a seriously good cover of the weight
  7. Damn I was just on SRV lol One of my all time favorites And my all time favorite SRV performance. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood - http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x20ifk_stevie-ray-vaughan-texas-flood_music via @DailymotionUSA
  8. Pretty good guitar in this one Musician in raw form (same one as above)
  9. Yep. Two good ones there. Joe is one of the most technically sound guitar players you'll ever find. Warren has an uncanny ability to tell a story with every note. Good stuff.
  10. Here's one many may know is actually very talented when he's not playing soft pop
  11. A break from metal for a moment... A man who has inspired countless musicians, myself included. Before my time, but I could listen to his albums for hours. Cold beer on the porch, around sunset with this in the background, wife and daughter playing in the yard. Doesn't get much better.
  12. ^^^ Gary Clark Jr is a good one. He has a sold out show in Bham at Iron City Feb 23. Face value was $30. Some tickets are going for over $80 now.
  13. Agreed on Nirvana. I never was a fan due to seeing them (on tv) do some pretty awful shows. Foo Fighters on the other hand is always solid. Their documentary series Sonic Highways is a musical masterpiece.
  14. Saw the ashes and dust tour live at the Avondale Brewery. Great show. Warren is a beast. Not sure I know of another artist that plays with more different bands than he does. It almost seems every tour he does he ends up on stage with a different band to play a song or two. He's a true musician. Can play anything with anyone. Some other bands to look out for: The Steepwater Band Tyler Bryant (with Graham Whitford--son of legendary Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford)
  15. I won't say he's like Cam, but his running style is very similar. Almost looks like he's running off balance but manages to make guys miss and has deceptive speed. Cam seemed to be on the verge of falling over (see the LSU highlight run) but would still manage to outrun folks.
  16. Speculation and opinion only. Just curious, Do you ever post anything positive about Auburn at all? I've never seen any. Me either. This ones either in constant meltdown or is the most negative poster on the forum.....or both.....
  17. Currently #2 in the country for 2017 recruiting.....in basketball....never seen that before in my life.
  18. Wow. Best recruiting AU BBall has ever seen from my memory. It's a premature assessment, but I believe we are 2 years away from becoming a perennial powerhouse. WDE!
