  1. One Democrat. And you use it to illustrate all Democrats. Where did this come from? It's so unlike you.
  2. Agreed. I thought Heaven would be the place where it was finally socially acceptable to sit in my parents' basement and play video games all day.
  3. Went off without a hitch. Happy to say everyone's fine...no side effects.
  4. If RFK Jr. has enough support to make the debates it would be fun to stand out front with a "Sponsored by Verizon 5G" sign and watch him run.
  5. Getting back to the OP....I'm sitting about 45 miles east of downtown Indianapolis right now. Will give a heads-up if I see any devil horns.
  6. This is the problem with trying to weed out all the misinformation...some people just won't believe otherwise because they're so wrapped up in conspiracy that they don't want to. The well-intentioned are vigilant, but crazy never sleeps.
  7. I'm sure they are, but surely you understand that millions of Christians also convert to Islam?
  8. Unfortunately this is the mentality that many in this country have...it's the greatest country ever because, in their minds, it was established as a Christian nation. We're the lucky ones and have a responsibility to convert everyone else in order to "save" them. Sucks for those we can't reach or choose not to believe but oh well, we tried.
  9. This had to have been addressed by The Far Side at some point, right?
  10. That year, the Georgia Republican reportedly carried on two affairs, one with a tantric sex guru named Craig Ivey.... And the story finally unfolds...
  11. Fine, but my eternal soul is not part of the government's purview, is it? Conversely, it is not religion's purview to police my or other people's actions - that is the role of government and laws, and both are rightly supposed to be religion-neutral in order to treat all equally. Do you agree with that?
  12. Guess Taiwan needs to repent, too. Not looking forward to having to repent again in 2033, 2044, 2045, etc. All this repenting is really wearing me out.
  13. “I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius."
  14. Not to millions of other people in the country. And that's the point - not everyone believes all the things you believe. There are some great teachings in the Bible as to how to be a good person, but the vast majority of those teachings are not exclusive to the Bible. Many of those teachings are also subject to different interpretations.
  15. I don't disagree that they are largely left, but are you seriously suggesting they be held to journalistic standards?
  16. You think late night television hosts should treat them the same?
  17. Let me know when someone thinks of a downside.
  18. Well, the good news is it won't be an issue again until 2086. Could the originators of the day have planned better? Sure, but I would suspect they were more concerned about short-term backlash rather than expecting the outrage to finally hit 15 years down the road. If there were evidence they had targeted Easter specifically, I could understand people being upset. This all just seems silly to me.
  19. Great Scott. This is a whirlwind of crazy. You're saying they "highlighted" the restrictions because they expanded on the tradition by displaying the eggs on the White House Colonnade, and because sexual orientation wasn't part of the Civil Rights Act until 2020? So somehow Biden is making that an "in your face?" How can you even pretend to be serious with that? Surely you've got some proof in the form of a statement he made where he said "Oh, by the way, please pay extra attention to the 'no religious symbols' part of the flyer"? Something where he specifically pointed it out? So because you don't remember them being mentioned, that means Biden pointed them out? Certainly couldn't have been the nutcases where you get your "news", right? If extreme right wing media loons hadn't been up in arms about this, I guarantee you still wouldn't know about those restrictions. As has been pointed out, why would Biden change the date? It's been March 31 from the start, and he's already observed it three times. What message would it have sent to the Trans community if he had moved the date to appease a bunch of people who don't approve of them anyway? Why make the idiotic suggestion to change the date of something that's already been established just because it happens to fall on Easter this year? And you say Biden planned it, but there is literally nothing different from this proclamation compared to the last three except it fell on Easter this year. Only in your hate-filled mind does it make any sense that Biden "planned" it. I notice you still haven't told me how this harms anyone in any way, yet you're losing your s**t over it. Your decent to an obsequious MAGA howler monkey is obvious to everyone when the worst you'll say about Trump is that you don't like him, but you'll say Biden is a horrible person. Remember that the next time you accuse anyone of TDS.
  20. Geez, you're just a fountain of useless, hateful bile, aren't you? Try to focus here - we're talking about decorating Easter Eggs, and whether you like it or not, the same rules have been in place for decades. Why do you say Biden "highlighted" the rules this time? Where and when did he do that? And was there a reason, or do you just assume it's because he's a horrible person?
