Yall, it's a pretty simple concept to beating Alabama. They want to shoot a bunch of 3's & make a bunch of 3's. When they see 3's start going in, they get energized & go on scoring runs and it then takes the wind out of the opponent's sails. They hit 11 3's and we hit 5 in the 1st game. By my math that is a 6 point advantage & we lost by 4. If I were coaching against Bama, I would come up with some kind of defensive strategy to try to contest every 3 point shot the turds attempt. It may even take a gimmick defense, but whatever it takes. If we can get their made 3 balls down from 11 to say 7, and we shoot better in our own gym, so I think we hit more than 5 this game then we will have our best shot at beating them. I honestly think they won't be as hot shooting in The Jungle as they were in Turdtown, and I believe we win by at least 6 tomorrow night.

I'm with you Fifty. I'd say 93% of Bama fans are spoiled, obnoxious, privileged brats. They are backwoods rednecks & hillbillies that are taught from birth that the 2 most important words in the English language are Roll Tide! Any time you try to have a civil discussion with them about football & you say something that gets under their skin about their beloved team or coach, then they go to that go to phrase (that I'm not gonna type anymore in this rant.) That's the extent of their intelligence. And the fans more than the team or school is why I can't bring myself to pull for Bama in any sport. BUT, with Satan retiring they are about to get a rude awakening (alot like the one they got prior to Nicky coming in) They are all over this new coach. He has won everywhere he has coached is the mantra. Only problem for them is he has never coached week in and week out against SEC Level defenses. He coached in the pansiest league for defense possible these last few years at Washington against the likes of Wazoo State, Oregon State, Oregon, USC. The only two teams in that league with a half way decent defense were Oregon & Utah. Now in comparison he gets to coach every week against defenses such as AU, BAMA, UGA, Texas, Oklahoma, ATM, LSU will be good again soon. Bama fans better get themselves ready for a bunch more losses than they got with Lil Nicky cause It's a coming. I'm sure that even with the L's coming up, they will still find a way to be totally obnoxious.

If he can draw up a defense to stop 4th & 31 then I am all for him.

I believe BP is giving Berman and Chris too much playing time & it is costing us minutes for other guys more viable to winning games. I would like to see BP change this philosophy to just giving the 2 of them 4-5 token minutes a game to fulfill whatever loyalty or whatever else he feels he owes to them. I would like to see CBM slide into that 5th starting spot in lieu of C. Moore & finish out a 9 Man rotation with the 2 Johnsons, Dylan & Tre & just leave whoever the hot hand is at the time that it comes to substitute the other 4 in. It's time to do whatever needs to be done to cut out deficiencies & win games.

I honestly hope one or both just absolutely show out this spring & make it obvious that they are better than PT. I just think PT had his shot this year & just didn't show enough to be THE MAN at QB. Surely one of our young guys can do better (over 2000 yds. passing)

All the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. The fact that Nick Satan retired is an added bonus in speeding up the process. I had predicted that no later than 2025 we would be competing for an SEC Championship. I'll just go ahead & guarantee that now. And if the ball bounces our way this coming year, we may even be in the playoffs, not as confident in that though. Definitely better than 2023.

Fitty, do you think the Portal is liveable enough for TJ to make his home there? He seems to love it there. Maybe he could make it his permanent home.

I'm 57 years young and the older I get, the more I realize it doesn't do any good to rush time. It's going to get here quicker than you want it to. BUT, all of this drama that this kid is pulling from all sides is getting tiresome to me. I can hardly wait til NSD in February to get the Ryan Williams Saga behind us so we can move on to the next. If he picks AU then AUsome, if he doesn't then Oh Well.

Some athletes just play better with a little attitude, which includes a little mouthing on the court. You just learn when & when not to do it. The worst time is when you are within 5 feet of the refs. And don't do it excessively (all the time)

I believe a good scenario would be to sign Salter (bring in his #1 receiver optional) Wouldn't mind seeing Thorne transfer out if this hurts his feelings, but he flat laid an egg in the MC Bowl after being given a vote of confidence. Any way that would give us Salter, Hank, and Walker battling out for QB1, and we brought in Jackson from Cal could be the emergency back up in the 4th spot, or as a wildcat QB. I know that Freeze said he would not pursue other options at QB before the bowl game, but dang, I'm just afraid if Thorne is our QB1 in 2024 we might get set back another 2-3 years.
