And just for good measure to prove the point I just made. Mark Sears is currently a junior. This thread was started in August of 2017. That’d mean you started it when he was entering his sophomore year of HS. Not when he was in 8th grade like you just claimed. Again, you exaggerate and embellish truths to try to pat yourself on the back but you just come across as silly

You don’t seem to understand that you can be both wrong and right at the same. Could you be right that he’ll turn into a great player? Absolutely. Were you wrong though in the evidence that presented to help your case? Absolutely yes to that too. You sensationalized a bunch of stuff to help make a point. Earlier in this thread, Cole claimed he had tons of offers and called me an idiot for suggesting otherwise. I guess the kid’s AAU coach doesn’t know as much about as Cole either

sounds the young man is having a nice season. Maybe he’ll pick up some more offers besides South Alabama

Bama losing to the worst team in the SEC at home is just too too too sweet. And it was such a nice little piece of humble pie too right after they got their heads swollen by beating UK.

Hate seeing Bama getting a nice tourney resume win, but UK losing was good for AU’s hopes of repeating as SEC champs. UT gonna be a problem though

The first drive he looked like he was just trying to play catch and not actually playing in a game. I think as the intensity ramped up, he got more focused and threw the ball better. But he still definitely has a habit of leaving too much weight on that back foot. I liked the way he threw the ball on the run though. That was impressive

Nix threw off his back foot a lot and didn’t step into his throws. Caused him to loft a few and take off any velocity. Had some nice throws though but that flat footed mess is definitely something he needs to work on. Pappoe should’ve pick sixed him on a really bad throw/decision.

Is there any chance that Akingbola enrolls at AU in January like Austin did a few years ago? I don’t see him in any pictures of the McCeachern team with Okoro and Cooper

The kid is such a baller. Gonna be interesting to see how the lineup shakes out next season cuz some of these young studs may be too good to be on the bench
